I don't understand people complaining about the fact that there's no sex or anything, with the way the relationships are right now it wouldn't make sense.
Let's be real here, the protagonist at this point can't have sex. Even if we have female characters that would go to bed with the guy, unless he tries Viagra, he can't get it up.

That's why there's no point complaining about it in my eyes.

What you are describing as blue balling here is normal relationship build-up, no artificial reasons. Just people getting to know each other.
i'm not even sure if what i wrote about blueballin' was meant to be criticism(just a little bit i guess), i think it was mostly concern if i can call it that, this is the most relationship build-up heavy game i've seen to be honest, in the sense that it focuses mostly on the emotions and drama and almost zero on the sexual.

My disappointment stems from the very long wait for the good stuff which we might never get, the longer the wait the bigger the risk of the game getting abandoned(devs losing enthusiasm & abandoning their game is a trope at this point), lots of shit can happen in the years to come, we've seen Berserk author die, Asoiaf will go unfinished, this shit happens even in the big leagues.

also, i've read the warnings beforehand.

Great game.
I purposely waited a couple of months to have more free time to get through chapter 3. Oceanlab continues to amaze, the quality of the picture and story keeps getting better and better! I'm even a little scared in anticipation of Chapter 4
I was pleased that the girls at the institute started to dress appropriately, although of course the number of beauties continues to be alarming (MC didn't die and walk around paradise now?). I don't even know who you have to be to make a choice between Bella and Mila , and then there's the redhead (though incest is not my option). Oceanlab, please add at least one not-perfect girl or fill the class with more guys, for God's sake, such beauty everywhere makes my eye twitch :)

Well, as here are periodically written about the fact that there is not a single sex scene, I personally would say that the forum is full of games on this case, and this project (in my humble opinion) more about relationships, mental anguish, love, and hope it will do without a strong emphasis on the sexual theme.
Sorry it's a bit rambling, but it's a fresh experience, really looking forward to Ch 4.

I mean it has been quite clearly stated, numerous times that this is not a porn game, if you just want that sort of game there are so many to choose from

Blue balling = Everything between two characters who are in a romantic relationship points to sex.
But the dev creates an artificial reason (Phone ringing, a person coming in, person X saying we better wait even though it is contradicting her character development at this point, etc.) to deny/delay sexual content.

And seriously, read the unskippable warning at the beginning of the game. Otherwise, the time you wasted on this game is on you.
and that's what I love about this game I hate games with characters that just have sex for the sake of it

maybe I'm a hopeless romantic but I like it when characters are intimate with each other because they love each other

and they built a connection with each other over time

I hate games that have characters that think about sex all the time

take Bella for example I love her to death I would do anything for her but I don't want to just jump into bed with her I want to build a relationship with her first

I want to get to know her I want to see our relationship grow and only when it feels natural to the story then we're intimate with each other

Because if you want to create a slow flowing story, it's preferably to release updates a little more often than once every half a year. Otherwise, such a concept will only cause irritation and frustration. Nobody wants to wait three years for the plot to develop.

Then maybe just accept this game isn't for you :/

Some fans/patrons are fine with waiting for the "quality" of this game vs other games where updates are much more common. No game is going to please everyone.

I understand what you're saying, but the guy wants to produce the highest quality animations and scenes that he can, that takes a lot of time and effort. He has honestly pushed Daz beyond what I thought it was capable of in animations, even his stills are often far above similar games with a very cinematic feel, and the music he has used so far perfectly fits the game. Yes I would love an update, but I'm prepared to wait to see it at its best.

Both of you have fine points but you have to take into consideration the circumstances in which the VN is developed and written, this is probably just a one man team and if you go back a few pages in this thread you'll see ocean has said his 3090 couldn't handle workload and has plans to get a better gpu, maybe that's indicative that things aren't as simple as it is behind the scenes.

Anyway I'd rather see this thread filled with 100 words essays on why Nami or Bella is best girl than seeing 500 words long texts about why developers are so slooOOooOw

Whatever goes on behind the scenes is his choice. We're the clients but he makes the product and he's free to choose to make it however he wants.

I would love to see more frequent updates but I understand he's unable to at the moment. Nor do I want him to jeopardize his product just to be able to do so.

Bella best girl
I'll just say Victoria just to promote other girls :)
So if I were to play with no renders I think the story would make me like Nami as best girl anyway but it would be close because there are obviously very nice and enchanting aspects of many characters
However:
Once you put her looks into it. That hair, that face, those freckles, that booty, overall body, that hair, and those freckles.

Then 100 points over 99 points (2nd place) becomes 100000 over 200 (2nd place)
For me, of course
