However, the reason why there are people defending and supporting Ocean is that they've seen what he can do. Most of us can see the potential here. Oceanlab does and has delivered every single time since taking on Summer's Gone(he was not originally in charge of it). Now I've made many comments at this point in regards to the development period, so I'm not going to repeat everything here. What I will say is that you're free to leave. No one's forcing you to support this game(or any of his projects). Instead of making comments like this, you can move on to an AVN that suits your needs and wants. But please refrain from making ignorant comments like this lol(you're making yourself look like a bit of an idiot

If you work in finance, then either you are delusional or you are terrible at your job. The baseline in managing in finance or any other business is about accountability, which ocean has none of. "Potential" in finance is just like anything else, you could have bitcoin and up 1000%, but until you sell it, it is effectively 0 dollars. Just like the countless high potential sports prospect every year that don't pan out. "Potential" means nothing unless there is actual pay off. You may have felt that you received the pay off, with 3 chapters, fantastic. Pay him for 4 month, which is what you can expect a top tier maker to produce quality content in, a quarter. If he doesn't deliver, stop paying, vote with your wallet, until he deliver what you paid for.
Continuing to subscribe with no hope in sight is dumb. It's not what he has proven, it's what has he done recently? Which is nothing. Feel free to continue to waste away your money. Oceans made it quite clear a while ago that Summer's Gone is a mature game with adult elements. He has stressed many times over that the story will always come first. In regards to the story of Summer's Gone, he has indeed delivered and continues to deliver with each update. Not only in terms of storytelling, but also in the overall production of this Visual Novel. I am quite curious about what you thought you were paying for. If you seriously believed that by becoming a patron, he'd automatically change everything to fit your wants, then darling, I am most definitely not the delusional one here. If you want to stop supporting, then you're very much free to do so. However, do not come here with the sole purpose of bashing Oceanlab. Oh and you cannot compare the potential of an artistic project to the career potential of a sports prospect. That comparison was... rather dumb honestly.
