I then ordered the A6000 alone for 5200€ ( 6000$)... but had to cancel it because I learned that you can't have a 3090 (GTX) and an A6000 (Quadro) in the same system. They use different drivers.

So, it's not worth getting a single A6000 right now. Besides the Vram, I would not benefit from it and even lose speed. By now it's clear that the new Threadrippers won't come out until 2022.

With the A6000 out of the picture, for now, I did still order a Workstation to increase my work speed.

Is there any point to keep this rotation with 2 PC's?
If both PCs are working simultaneously and the updates are still rare - this kind of question appears on forum.

He has a total of 3 PCs as of now.

The current PC setup looks like this:
- SG is now on the Workstation and works with 2x3090 & 128GB Ram
- WiAB moved to the old SG PC and now has a 3090 + 2080Ti on 96GB Ram
- The third and oldest PC is only being used to render animations and currently only features a 2080Ti and 64GB Ram.

As far as I remember, season 1 is not 5 chapters, but 10.

What kind of rotation? As far as I'm aware there is a PC dedicated to SG and WIAB each. And Ocean also as a third PC rendering Animations for both games.
And the PC's are working simultaneously but with Ocean's Quality they sometimes seem to render the work of a single day for multiple days if I understood Ocean's Dev Logs right.

So the table with update timings is correct, but to make it perfect - WIAB and new PC information rows should be added.

I work in finance... where's the "sound financial advice"? Lol. But I do understand where you're coming from. This is an ambitious project. However, the reason why there are people defending and supporting Ocean is that they've seen what he can do. Most of us can see the potential here. Oceanlab does and has delivered every single time since taking on Summer's Gone(he was not originally in charge of it). Now I've made many comments at this point in regards to the development period, so I'm not going to repeat everything here. What I will say is that you're free to leave. No one's forcing you to support this game(or any of his projects). Instead of making comments like this, you can move on to an AVN that suits your needs and wants. If you work in finance, then either you are delusional or you are terrible at your job. The baseline in managing in finance or any other business is about accountability, which ocean has none of. "Potential" in finance is just like anything else, you could have bitcoin and up 1000%, but until you sell it, it is effectively 0 dollars. Just like the countless high potential sports prospect every year that don't pan out. "Potential" means nothing unless there is actual pay off. You may have felt that you received the pay off, with 3 chapters, fantastic. Pay him for 4 month, which is what you can expect a top tier maker to produce quality content in, a quarter. If he doesn't deliver, stop paying, vote with your wallet, until he deliver what you paid for.

Continuing to subscribe with no hope in sight is dumb. It's not what he has proven, it's what has he done recently? Which is nothing. Feel free to continue to waste away your money. It's like the right wing voters, continuing to vote for the group that screws them the hardest, people are really funny with money.
