Oceans made it quite clear a while ago that Summer's Gone is a mature game with adult elements. He has stressed many times over that the story will always come first. In regards to the story of Summer's Gone, he has indeed delivered and continues to deliver with each update. Not only in terms of storytelling, but also in the overall production of this Visual Novel. I am quite curious about what you thought you were paying for. If you seriously believed that by becoming a patron, he'd automatically change everything to fit your wants, then darling, I am most definitely not the delusional one here. If you want to stop supporting, then you're very much free to do so. However, do not come here with the sole purpose of bashing Oceanlab. Oh and you cannot compare the potential of an artistic project to the career potential of a sports prospect. That comparison was... rather dumb honestly.

To your reply it's true potential means nothing, but what do you mean he doesn't deliver? He does maybe not as fast as some of the other Developers but like I said before they often have more than 5-10x the income of Ocean so from a financial perspective your comparison sucks. And to say he is slow holds some truth, but if you look up my last post you will see he increased his speed to match some of the best developers of this site. If you tell me 12000+ renders in 8 months isn't much you won't find a single developer you are happy with.

I will normally sit and try to stay in the lurker tree but after a few posts that popped up I fell out of it.

I came in to Summer's Gone blind, meaning I didn't pay attention to the Developer Notes or the reviews. From the beginning to where this VN left off at, I am perfectly fine not having any sex happening. I am more invested into finding out why the MC is the way he is. I am interested into the other characters that are being fleshed out and seeing how they interact with the MC. Everything doesn't need to lead to quick gratification.

It sounds like there are a few random wall flowers that want Ocean to speed things up just so they can get jerk value, yet don't realize a good portion of AVNs are terrible because they don't know how to tell a story. His quality is great, he is refining the earlier episodes of SG as well as he progresses. Even with older episodes that aren't reworked yet, this VN is fine. Yet people want Ocean to follow the "101 AVN for Dummies" book which is terrible and how every VN tends to follow below.

Prologue: Introduce the VN basic version story of "Orcs Killed my Family". So the MC's father has died. Pick a duration, the MC comes back home. He is now the 'Tenant'. 'Tenant' meets his 'landlady' and 'roommates'. All are in mourning. Despite the emotional cloud that is hovering over all, the 'tenant' forgets himself and starts checking out the 'landlady' and 'roommates'. Insert talk of their tits, ass, the 'tenant' being embarrassed and running off to his room. "How can I think such things?" he asks himself. So do we. Insert a dinner phase, some talk of how they are doing, most likely in debt. MC goes to sleep. He starts to think of the things that he needs to do to make things right. He thinks of his dead father/landlord/warden whatever. Two seconds later he thinks of the women, falls to sleep.

Episode/Version.01: Start off with the obligatory 'landlady' walks in while the MC has morning wood. Insert thoughts of how gigantic and thick it is. She wants to touch it, just touch it(queue Celine Dion interviews). Gets embarrassed and runs off. Talk with both 'roommates'. End the episode on the frustrations of the MC, he wakes up to get a glass of water/take a piss. Spies on a roommate, sets up twisted dumb molester shit for the future.

Episode/Version.02: Insert the shower spy for everyone in the house. MC gets flustered. He can't control his emotions. Progress the terrible storyline. Make sure landlady walks in on tenant while he is showering. Make sure the impure thought renders are there, go nowhere. End it on the MC thinking he heard or saw someone.

Episode/Version.03-06: Lead into handjobs. The landlady gives a sensual handjob. One roommate gives a shy and timid handjob and you need a rebellious roommate to give a handjob that makes it great, she twists on the shaft and cups the balls. Also make sure the MC's dirty talk includes glans or frenulum.

I think you get it.
