"The standards of beauty required in modeling" don't decide whether a girl is beautiful or not, considering how skinny some models can be to comply with those standards. In a perfect world where both games are finished, I doubt anyone would beat Sasha and Elsa in a poll for the most beautiful, these two meet the standards of beauty required in modeling the rest is personal preference i am a mystery cheeto enjoyer my first post in this thread was related to her
Don't recall anyone has recently...so the point of your post (other than thinking you're far more important than you actually are and bait) is what exactly?Milker? The dev who is developing two games at the same time? The dev who drops an update a year and a rework every two updates? The dev who has 2-3 sex scenes between his two games?
Why would ppl call him that?

Note: As of October 16, 2021, Ocean has said that the list of LIs can be expanded to more LIs but it is also possible that some LIs will be dropped, except for the eight that are listed as guaranteed. Update February 2023: as of Chapter 4.5, "less than 5" new LIs are yet to be introduced. The white hair cheeto is most gorgeous character that Ocean created but alas she is not a LI.

I remember that time long ago as well. The funny thing is: SG was the first game I noticed that had an expected 12+ month development cycle between updates - well above the average. This was shortly after Ocean reworked Ch 1.It's actually insane how things changed from when I first started playing AVN's about 6 years ago. Back then most games I played were being updated every 2-5 months. It was not at all uncommon to see a new 400-500 render update every 3 months. At that time a subscription model made sense.
Today most games I play get updated maybe every 8-12 months at best. And you'd think all of them would come out with 1k+ renders at least, no? Nope! Sometimes not even with devs who do it full time. Imagine subbing for an entire year for maybe an hour of underwhelming content that doesn't even feature your favorite LI.... Fucking lunacy.
I do my part as I've always done. All devs I want to support get my money on the month of release. That's it. It encourages them to put out faster and better updates. Instead of giving them a guaranteed source of income which encourages the opposite. Nothing is safe from Enshittification, not even AVN's![]()
I had three games with 3-4 months cycle in my list. Two of them are abandoned now.I remember that time long ago as well. As you say, that kind of development cycle (8-12+ months) is normalized now, but back then it was rare.
Yet there still are devs with established games that offer small and consistent monthly updates. A newish dev even made the brilliant decision to render their new game at 720p and they want (and have the ability) to turn out an update every a few months.
PS - anyone remember the most clichéd goals on Patreon - AVN devs would put a monthly $$ target as a goal that, when reached, would allow them to buy this and that to speed up development. Their ultimate monthly $$ target tier had a goal that, when reached, would enable them to quit there job and work on game development full time. LOL!![]()
doesn't Dream do that for you?I would like to have my own lapdog dev. I would tell him what to do and he would do as I want.
I remember that one developer who asked for more money so he could move to Japan?!PS - anyone remember the most clichéd goals on Patreon - AVN devs would put a monthly $$ target as a goal that, when reached, would allow them to buy this and that to speed up development. Offtop, but no, he doesn't. Why would he? Neither does Ocean.doesn't Dream do that for you?
No it's "just" the first chapter of season 2 which is bigger than normal having the size of 2 (slighly more?) normal chapters. The dev said it would be bigger than half of season 1.If dev release whole season 2 than its awesome.
One season in one release and season should be big lots of playing time.
I get the feeling that this isn't just the case in this thread - it’s pretty much everywhereOfftop, but no, he doesn't. Why would he? Neither does Ocean.
But some people in this thread talk about it as if the developers are their tame monkeys.
I think I understand that you are asking if the rest of the seasons will be released as DLC? if so, no, each season will be a different game, and it is supposed to be a complete season only (not like patreon that you can play it chapter by chapter). Will the steam version include season 2 updates in the future? I don't mind paying for the steam version if I get updates without paying a Patreon subscription.
Typically "Season 2" is a DLC or completely different game on Steam. I don't think I've ever seen a Season 2 that was just an update to the base game for free. Will the steam version include season 2 updates in the future?
