Now i get it ! , now i get , why people such as yourself and others looks at Ocean like a master writer contender to the Literary Awards.

yesterday a colleague of mine and i were having a conversation and the avns theme came so we talk it about it for an hour .
this colleague recommended me M.E.F.F(my ex future family) and M.C.R(my cute roommate) .
so i'd decided to start MEFF and not even 15 minutes in the avn and i proceeded to delete MEFF and MCR , my brain almost got an aneurysm by trying to comprehend or make sense of such an awful writings , awful story , awful characters and awful renders .

Maybe i was spoiled because my first avn was "Acting Lessons" and the writing was below average but not awful or garbage and had decent characters but "god damn!" there is a sea of putrid garbage in the avn scene.

At best, you only named half of the events. Go to the opening of a bar, join the basketball team (if I'm not mistaken, there should be a tryout), and of course card games on the farm (I hate them along with the aliens, the stupidest part of the game).... I completely forgot about joining the yoga club, where there are only girls, apparently there will be many new female characters. But that's not all, the women's basketball team is coming, which means that there will be even more female characters in the game. I assume that the list of LIs should expand greatly.

There's an element of that, I totally agree. The biggest problems with AVN's is finding a natural way to incorporate the porn logic/lewd scenes while keeping the script obeying normal logic. Most AVNs have just a series of tropes and cliches strung together as a plot. In SG currently we've met most of the characters, and we've seen Nika start walking out of his lonely room, that's about it. We're still waiting to see how much Ocean will rely on AVN cliches and how much he'll tell his own story.

The cliche things, I probably have a bunch of PTS(exual)D from some of those other low quality style AVN's that I've unfortunately opened.

This is why I hope for things like - no Summer returning, because it's a cheap relational drama that's common in a lot of cliche AVN stories, that's why I hope Nika isn't the lost prince, because again, it's an overused trope in AVNs.

And there are also great AVN's other than SG and WiaB that I enjoy. I don't think I"ve seen or played own that puts so much detail into what's happening in the background. Ocean cares a lot obout trying to make the world of the story bigger that what we can see. Maybe he tries too hard, but I still enjoy it.

And there are enough other great AVN's worth playing while I wait. Weeding through that sea of garbage to find them though - when I find something I hold on

I'm going to assume it's just a jewellery asset in this case - she's been seen without out, so it's not essential to her character as far as we know.

The WiaB cult thing is (presumably) the antagonist in WiaB, and we'd assume that the Zanes win at the end of WiaB, or maybe end up taking over? So I don't think the cult will necessarily be a thing in SG.

And we're extrapolating cult, when there's very little evidence in WiaB of what it actually is. The religious side could just be a front for a bunch of business people going for tax exemptions, because if there's one thing I understand about Ocean's devlogs, taxes are the devil.

that would be awesome if sex scenes happen i was not a fan of games with little sex content at first but i played deluca family which engaged me on story driven games sadly it got abandoned before i got a glimpse of its sex scenes

Even if that post was outdated I still don't believe "many" new LIs would be introduced.

Those words would actually mean something had I not witnessed 579 changes to SG in the past 5 years. I think Ocean has proved time and time again that a lot of what he says is worthless. What is true today can very well be a mere figment of your imagination tomorrow. Such is the Ocean way.

It's super easy to forget just *how many* AVNs there are. The vast vast majority of them have staggeringly bad writing. You can't even get into the realm of deciding if the plot or characters are well done. You don't get past "can this dev form a complete and coherent sentence?"

A lot of that is a result of devs that aren't native English speakers. Though, in the end, if it's unreadable garbage it doesn't really matter why.

The part that surprises me is how many with writing in the "complete garbage" category still end up semi-popular.

Mine was Being a Dik. I've heard its one of the best if not top 5. Kinda hard to beat first impressions. I've seen a fair amount of good ones though.

Oceanlab's stuff being one of the few. Not an entirely bad thing ig gives me a better idea of whats good and whats a clear cash cow to milk through patreon.

Congratulations on registering your account bro. You may not know it yet, but the most popular games of the scale and complexity of Summer's Gone get an update every 8-12 months in last years. A shitty trend but whatever. If you wanted to complain about the imperfection of the world - my warmest virtual hugs to you.

The last progress update with numbers was in mid-December, Ocean wrote that he was sittiing at 3750 renders. His estimate for the total number of renders in the update is ~6000-7000. So he needs ~2250-3250 renders to finish the static visual part of the update. We calculated here earlier that he was doing ~850 renders per month recently. At this rate, he will finish rendering in 3-4 months. That's the rough estimate when to wait for the release date.

But his new workstation he got last week is baking 70+ renders a night, as he wrote, which is 2100+ renders per month. Let's say 40% of those are WiAB renders, and we'll have ~1250 renders per month. At that rate, it'll take ~2-3 months to finish rendering. But that's not certain.

And yeah, I guess he's still busy with the Steam. Where it All Began release on Steam is ahead.

Did you read its name before answering? I just hope you were able to get it all off your chest... sometimes it's necessary, I sometimes take a user off the list and look at their last post, so I can get the anger (for whatever reason) off my chest and go back to being me.
