I'm using XnConvert for batch conversion, input is avif, output is jpg, or webp, and after few seconds I can view the pictures with my picture viewer.Firefox and Chrome will both save as avif by default from this site. Not checked Opera yet. I'm sure as hell not installing another browser just get images from here, I'll convert them myself in Photoshop.
Windows photo viewer though (before Win11) will not open avif or webp by default. No idea if 11 does or not. That's why they won't open for you, it may save it as something, but the image is embedded and that's not easily changed. Try and change a webp to png etc by just changing the file extension and see what happens

I am not feeling sorry for patreon supporters for supporting the game i support alot of creator's and will continue to do so,however when a Developer or Artist offers their product on steam for sale (i won't talk about price) my view then shifts to economics. I feel like now i am no longer supporting development by an artist, but am supporting capitalism. I understand An artist getting paid and i absolutely agree Almost no artist gets paid enough for their work. That is the very reason i support developers that i like. I just feel like when an author,writer or developer however you want to label them puts a price on their product for me it now says this is what my product is worth and i become a consumer not a supporter.Well, so much for the foursome thing. I think its just gonna be a Vic run. That scene at the physical therapist always gets me.
Whats there to feel sorry for? Patreon isn't about buying a product. Its about supporting a creator. Its the classical patron model extended to the masses being able to support creators. Its the same as donating to cancer research. You're doing it to help out because you believe in the cause/creator. Its not about getting the product for a fair value.
Anyone who gives money just to "pay" for the game, would support for one month at whatever tier they feel is appropriate and then cancel the sub after that month is paid for.

Iirc, Ocean said way back when that if you finagle the right path with your choices, she'll eventually walk again. I dunno if he's changed his mind since then, though, as this was years ago I saw the comment.
I've read this 5 times now, and it still makes zero logical sense to me. I don't really have a response to it.
But if thats how you feel, sure, you do you. You can just change your support from donating to buying the product once. And thats completely fine.

This is not true at all. When I was Ocean's Patreon, I knew nothing about his deceptions. I even tried to defend Ocean when he failed to release SG by the end of the year and angry people started leaving the Patreon. They told me a lot of interesting things about Ocean, which at first seemed untrue.
For example, they said that they did not believe Ocean at first when he promised to release the game by the end of the year, because he would have to work all summer, and he is used to resting in the summer. He rests every summer, and he himself comes up with a story to justify himself in the logs. I said that it is hard to believe and all this seems like nonsense. Then they promised to predict all of Ocean's further actions and the time of SG release.
I was immediately warned not to expect SG release in early 2025, as well as in the spring, because Ocean will continue to delay the game. There will be no release in the summer because he will be resting. It turns out that the nearest time for the release is from October to December.
Time passed and I forgot about it until 2025 came. Ocean stopped working on SG and started working on Wiab. Then he transferred SG to Q3, and then to Q4. I remembered the predictions that I used to laugh at, it turns out they were completely right. Of course, after that I stopped being a Patreon, but if I had known about this in advance, I would never have been one.
Your interlocutor is right, some people cannot be supported because they start using it. It is easier to buy an update from them through Steam.

I kinda feel like Vic is too cute and upbeat to pull off the Goth look. Even in these renders. She looks good, but the vibe is more like cute tattoo artist good, instead of gothy good. If that makes sense.

1. If you actually were a Patreon supporter for any length of time, you would know that Ocean stopped giving an actual release date for releases because any miss of that date, no matter how small, became a source of complaining by a segment of the SG community - some of whom were $ supporters and Many who were not...
Ocean gives his supporters rough estimates now and continues to give us biweekly updates on both of his AVNs.
I'd prefer he focus on telling these stories well versus worrying about a specific date as a deadline.
Is it a long wait - OC - but I think it will be worth it.
2. You would also know that Ocean is making two AVNs at the same time for several reasons, including his mental health. Now - you can disagree with the dev's right to create as he desires while coming to complain about him on a pirate forum - but I'm not going to tell another adult how to best manage His mental health.
3. All I get from your post is complaining and 'here's what I read'... It feels and reads like a PSA telling People to avoid Ocean... using a pirate site as your medium of communication...
You talk about unknown 3rd party opinions as though they are gospel and to be believed but offer nothing beyond that, like screenshots actually supporting your narrative (something more than 'I disagree with the dev').

You seem to have a fixation with Ocean, and I recommend broadening your F95 experience with this User Id, unless this is an alt ID of course...
Go find other AVNs on F95, download, enjoy and comment on those threads... otherwise, this trend will shift from 'might be axe grinding' to definitely here just for the axe grinding.
