Well it will shift my perspective completely if their parents will be be shown at WiAB later on. Since at WiAB, we knew Noji is still "nobody" and doesn't have influence at all.

Maybe, just maybe, Nika and Nami's family is either Ally or Enemy Family to William. But probably Ally. BUT i hope it will be the enemy family, it make more interesting story telling since William is still present at SG. hahaha

Or maybe they are not mafia at all. They could be from the force, or even bystanders.

In the end, the alliance won, but as a result, a retaliation or a revenge plot against them might have been enacted, and Sasha might be a victim of it. That's why she trains martial arts, has a bodyguard and mental trauma. Her scar caused by sexual assault in the past might be plausible given the context that her charm ruined several marriages, but if so, she must be very uncomfortable around men. The game shows none of this, so I assume that is not the case.

Nami may very well be involved with these families. She has one of Leia earring, her parents died in a car accident (which sounds pretty set up), and Katie Zane came to check on her, knowing that she will attend that book club. Now, there isn't much known about Nika; his parents also died in a car accident. He mentioned an uncle taught him how to play basketball, presumably William, that was when he was in Noji's custody, so William may be just checking on Nami, or he could also be involved with the mafia stuff, I don't know. Okay, how does that sound, guys?

Yeah, I think Nami's parents might have been casualties of the conflict involving the Zanes, and she could still be an important factor for Katie to check on her personally. The ZPR families' alliance and the subsequent retaliation against them is a theory I developed because of the link between Nami and Sasha's relationship with Leia (I'm not sure Ayua interuption when Sasha about to ask Nami's earing intentionally or not), and the ZPR families joining hands to form a university.

With the Ocean, you never know if the similarities between people or things mean something. There are usually a few clear clues that tell you it's not just a coincidence. For example, the winged earrings, or snake bracelets. They were mentioned in different conversations.

In the old WiAB there was a character, Sedilla, who was looking very alike Nami, and was wearing the same winged earrings. No idea if she will appear in the new WiAB.

Ocean needs to create over 30 female characters: 15 from the sports team, at least 15 rivals from other colleges, 5 or more of Bella and Ayua's street-racing friends, 5+ of Nia's work buddies, 5+ from Vanessa and Elsa's elite social circle, and a group centered around Melanie. Some older characters from WHIAB should also be included. There should be some overlap between these groups, but not too much. Fortunately, Ocean is very good at creating attractive girls.

have sacrificed some characters from the LI list. In SG it would have been far easier with just Nami and probably Ayua stricken from the list.
In Wiab, he would have had to sacrifice the female members of the Zane family from the LI list. But we players would have lost not much!
Both games have very nice LIs beyond those mentioned. In Wiab Miru, Zoey, Monika, Dana and Daphne to name only the important ones. In SG we have Bella, Nadja, Sasha, Amber, Zara, Vicki to name some.
It actually would have been better for the two games development if Ocean had the balls to do it, making the LI lists smaller, taking off the Zane family members and Nami! He could have kept the original background, making this bollocks rubbish rewrite unnecessary and with less LIs easing off the workload with fewer paths to be made.
Given his workspeed, which makes snails look like race drivers, any lessening of workload would be a net positive. Let´s be real, if he cannot quicken his workspeed by a substantial margin, both WIAB and SG will never be finished or a substantial part of us will be dead by the time these two games are finished.

To be flippant, given Ocean´s "speed", the devs of "X4:Foundations"(a fantastic space sim), who are a small circle of enthusiastic friends, will have finished X4+expansions and be mostly through publishing X5 + expansions, when SG and WIAB will reach 33%. (By the way, X4 is seven years old with 4 expannsions so far)

Just let it go, man. You have no control over Ocean's decisions. Focus on the things you can control instead.

I don't think it's a problem for him. He already has an impressive cast of attractive NPCs, it's just amazing. Lots of SG students, people on the streets, in cafes, restaurants, at bus stops, women in the book club, patients in the hospital... Lots of girls in the locker room when you're not on Bella's path.
And he can always buy a new character pack at 90% off at Daz assets stores. Nami is the most basic model (Sinisa), I think everyone has seen her in more than one game, and look at what a cute Cheeto he has made of her. Probably her best customization.

Yeah, and don't forget that it was Noji who has chosen exactly this college for Nami and Nika without giving them any other options. And "suddenly" Nika finds out that Noji knows Katie Zane very well. I don't think it's just a random thing.

Well, on WIAB we saw Nodji and Katie together, I think the story will unfold further. The main thing that interests me now is how the children ended up with Nodji. And the fact that they all know each other there is no longer surprising, Ocean artlessly introduced us to Amber, Dani, and possibly the vampire mother at the club plus Petrova

The 'what about it?' is maybe more to do with Amber being the only confirmed member of the book club in that render. The black haired girl (who is likely the one who was asking about Bambi at the petrol station, isn't a dead ringer for Charlie, not just her hairstyle. THis could be Vanessa's mom. We don't know. Dani and Elena haven't been seen at the book club.

It's not unlikely or impossible, but this render has next to nothing to do with the bookclub with what we currently know. All it tells us is that Amber, Elena, Dani and mystery girl, even on graduation, have enough standing/clout in Wollust to be allowed in Leia's VIP section, while the frat bros are stuck in the common area. It suggests that the powerful in Wollust all know each other and the Zanes, but some of the book club people are not necessarily from great families - ie Emila is likely not from some family, Jenna mentions she steals clothes (?) the nun doesn't seem like she's from the rich circle, niether does Mikaela. The elderly ones do seem like they are from old money though, but it just further highlights that Amber is the only confirmed member of the bookclub there - this is a separate gathering of uni friends.
