It will be hard thou, since Bella will always have crush to Nika, even when you don't kiss her. Well, but who knows, i want Ayua as LI too.

Though not as close of a friend as Ayua, Nadia is also Bella's friend and unless things changed is also an LI. Drama of some sort is unavoidable, as you'd expect in a game with multiple gals going for our brooding MC.

Though something to note, Ayua is also Nami's friend so if she were an LI, the drama would get very spicy.

Well anything will be possible thou, its remind me, if we getting close with Mila, while taking Bella path, She doesn't bother much too, even she despise her very much. So maybe if Ayua suddenly become LI, it will be possible too. Or maybe it will act like Mila and Vic, we cannot dating them both at the same time.

I'd say he is forthcoming. But don't expect a plan. He's learning as he goes, there's no university course for making a successful AVN. He is secretive because the story takes a long time to tell, and giving away the story gives away the reason people want to play the next season (in regards to characters/plots).

Also, consider that since WiaB lost its patreon, Ocean's had to change the nature of both games from what he'd intended. All devs who plan on long development stories are working out the same thing - they have to dodge the bullet before they even know it's there now. This is a big thing. I'd expect a lot of AVN's will be subjected to extensive plot changes over the next months for the ones that want to be on Steam.

I don't support as a patron, I just buy off Steam, so right now, there's no blind faith from me, I got what I paid for, it was less than a bottle of wine. Time, well, I waste time, I'm here right? We all have time to waste if we're on this site. Supporters are supporting the journey. Anyone who wants a clear cut process should support something clear cut. So in this, I do think it's a you problem (and I mean that objectivley, not as a criticism) - you want clarity when the product being offered has no clarity, it's only just established what the mysteries are. Your expectations aren't being met, but that's not due to secrecy, you want something that isn't on offer. SG is a slow burn game with mysteries, and far too long a dev cycle. Ocean doesn't hide that. What does it say in the first post? 'mysteries are about to unfold.' Ocean can't give away the mysteries as that's part of his premise. The drama might have it's moments of cheese, but the emotion is all in the reveals. If he reveals too much in devlogs, people don't get those heightened reveals. People don't get to mak their favourite theories.

So supporters who are supporting what is offered tend to be those who are happy for the mysteries and the journey to uncover them. Why is Katie smirking everywhere? How does Noji know everyone? What is the race against impossible odds? What is going on with the coaches having a lame internal power struggle when one of them has a killer mo? Are the Holgerson's pervs? What happened to Bella's sister? Why does Sasha have the other half of Nami's earring? What are Vanessa's plans for Wollust domination? How did the mafia family become a college business? What is Mila hiding? Why does Sasha have a scar? What was Nika charged with? What was the violent incident?

Sure some of it will be cheesy, days-of-our-lives type reveals, but giving the details and plans or outline of events away diminishes those story elements. THe second thing the game is about is healing. Not Nika becoming a phallic god, but Nika not being depressed. Nika getting over his trauma. Sex might be part of that, but how many people try to fuck away their traumas and end up in worse relationships that cause them despair? Nika needs to heal, not to primarily fuck, but to have proper healthy relationships. Currently he's quite shitty as a human being. I think people consider Nika's mental condition an excuse for Ocean to delay the lewds, rather than one of the central plot points. Nika dealing with the past is the main event.

If you don't trust the dev, don't give the dev money until they release something you like. That should be a rule of thumb.

Making 2 games about "mystery" as main plot is kinda impressive or reckless. But i admire Ocean's work to deliver 2 phenomenal AVN at once.
I kinda understand some people will be impatient to "unfold" the mysteries, thats why the discussion will be keep rolling out and become guessing game until the new season release. I really hope next season will be phenomenal or at least can keep up with the achievement of Season 1, or else it will become game-killer for both game.

I've reported these problems to Ocean.
At first he would tell me that this new Steam build "wasn't built with the previous version as I wasn't able to locate it anymore. It's now the same as the Patreon version, but that one should've been the latest version iirc".
Then also saying that he couldn't find a different and wrong ee219 render (the one I posted here), and that all of those typos had to have been there before.

Then I presented the evidence to him, script comparison from before and after the update, the render in question, etc...and he's now looking into it...

So Ocean dropped another update to Steam this morning. It fixed the script issues I had identified yesterday, but I then noticed he had some shots of Nami in Ch2 (the nude body painting scene with Ayua) and in Ch4 (the lake scene with MC) changed (again!) to the non-topless version. Those versions were part of the initial Steam release 18 months ago but he had quickly changed them to the Patreon topless version. So why changing them back...and there were some inconsistencies too as some of the topless ones were kept !

So I sent him another message enquiring why and he basically said it will remain as such for now, as the game is going for another review to be sold on the German Steam store. He doesn't want to jeopardize his chances.
He then uploaded another patch later this evening that fixes the inconsistencies between topless and non-topless renders. It's all non-topless now.

Obviously this means I'm uploading another version of the Uncut Mod right now to restore the topless renders, would not be necessary to upgrade for those who run the Patreon build, but it would for all Steam users.

So sticking to only talking about Summers Gone which would be as the MOD told me on topic not off topic lets talk about it ,So we all can talk about this or that about said characters and their relationships with each other but can anyone really say anything concrete no because all we have to go on is Season 1 so all else is speculation we have no proof of anything that will happen because Ocean is dangling a carrot on a stick for us to follow. But bear in mind you will be at least 5 years older or more by the time Season 2 ends even if he does get a new rig it's not a good idea to give us what we want quickly. So prepare for a long drawn out game that Ocean is playing. I myself would love to see Nika and Nami's realtionship further and Victoria walk again and see Mila go on that dinner date with Nika and see Bella open up with Nika about her sister. But those are hopes for the future not likely I'll see any of those in the near future but it's ok I at least have Season 1 I can play over and over only Dreaming of a continuation of said story that I may never see.

But yes, I do believe as well that losing his Patreon over WiAB was the key factor in him being so cautious now.

Definitely, I haven't read the Patreon rules, is there a way to appeal or re-upload the game by removing what it was removed for, or by changing its name?
I just see it this way, that he is trying to be "good" for some government agencies, gaming platforms, etc., at the expense of his patrons. I am starting to get annoyed by all sorts of "I hid my tit so that they would give me a license, access, 16+, death star"


And in order not to be accused of being on a pirate site... I am actually a "privateer", I have a license on Steam and was once the patron of this ship of Theseus.

That shows Ocean has both understood well and nothing at all too! Because the Steam regulations for Germany (and a couple other nations) are quite different from the German USK stuff!
The USK agency is very leger on sexual stuff, very hard on violence. Had Ocean gone to the USK guys first with the hardest x version of SG and gotten a 16, maybe even 12 USK rating (since SG is fluffy washed to near death), he could have taken this rating to Steam and everything would have gone nicely. Because when Steam gets an official rating with a game sale request, they normally do not sniff very hard because if something happens, Steam can point to the offical USK rating.

Steam´s own rating staff, whoever those guys are, got spooked by several governments regulations when it comes to minors seeing "bad" sexual pictures on the Steam website. So they blocked several nations and getting anything sexual approved by them for below age 18 is nearly impossible.
The biggest joke here is the fact that like so many things from the old incompetent government (not that the new one is much better), the German regulation never was activated at all, there will be a new one made whenever that happens, but Steam had already reacted.
Ocean fucked up in that he went to Steam first for a rating in a AVN, because he was to hard-arsed to pay for the USK rating, which would have given him easy entry to Steam! As I mentioned in another post, there is an indie developer who paid for the USK rating and got a 16, despite that game having strippers doing strippy things. It went on Steam without a hitch.

I'm new to the title and was also surprised that... for the amount of content released, there were no sex scenes. I skimmed some other posts about the author taking out this or that nudity scenes and not including sex for sales purposes. Can't really tell you too much about that but I can say a few things to the folks who fight about it.

1. I was surprised that their were no sex scenes but it's the dev's prerogative. Fair enough.
2. Yelling at people who are surprised or unhappy with number one by saying things like "this isn't a porn simulator" is complete bullshit. My tracking sheet says I've been through 216 different AVN titles. ALL of them (barring this one) have sex scenes. So getting on someone for expecting sex in an AVN is disingenuous at best.

Just because the name of the restaurant is Hamburger Joes doesn't mean we server hamburgers you philistine!
