Thanks for the help. I'll play it without the Patch, even though I believe some of the dialogue doesn't make since the way it is said. For instance, as I pointed out earlier, the line "we're not a couple. We're roomies!" doesn't really make since. Now. Had Ocean worded it like "We're just roomies" or "We just live together" might have made more since. One word can make all the difference.

Ya know, Vic would've had an epileptic fit if she heard Nami say this. Nami, without batting an eyelid, would then exclaim, "Quick, everybody! Throw in your washing!"

The whole S1 suffers from a mid way rework. If you look close enough you can see the stiches. Things don't fit as close together as they should. Ocean wrote 2 chapthers an then the game suffered a shift, and things were being changed while also being made. The time between each update also was grand, meaning that while Ch 4 was made when Patreon had a approach aboout their TOS Ch5 was made when their approach had changed quite a bit. The result is less than great. It becomes even more glaring when you had played previous version but is still there if you look close enough. I hope that is something that he adress in the next update, being it something like 3 chapthers in one, as it hurt badly the story.

Hopefully the relationship with Nami still retains that 'taboo' feeling. Otherwise the great part at romance near the end of the season, impossible race decision makes no sense.

It would make kind of sense to me as she is like a sister to him. Even if they are not related, they grew up in the same house. Felt more like siblings or even cousins than just two people who share a residence for college or something.

I might be biased, but the way the issue is presented it seems to be caused by something external to the two of them.

Is just a problem if Ocean can't make the story work, and as it is now, WiaB story dosen't work very well. That said it is a work in progress só there is the possibility of the story working out. As was already pointed out much of Nika and Nami relationship dosen't make sense with out the taboo aspect of it and I ain't sure that mafia reasons works here.

Nothing stops her from being one, we just know we haven't seen Nika's parents in WiaB, I don't think Ocean said anything about Nami's parents. That could make the earring make a bunch more sense. Nami aslo doesn't know why she has the earring, so if there's any kind of WiaB reason to the earring, she's completely cluesless about it.

Secondly, there's nothing now that says Nami can't be related to the Zanes. We know that Nika isn't related to anyone we've seen in WiaB, but the same's not been said for Nami. So I'm pointing out that Katie's reasons for being at the bookclub and her interest in Nika and Nami might be for different reasons for each of them. Nami has the earring, which Sasha, Ayua and Vanessa recognise. So Katie's interest in Nami might be for very different reasons.

It is a healing story yes, but it also has trauma to be healed from. It's not a rom-com, and it's not going to be an action spectacular. BUt it does have violence as one of the warnings on the steam page. So it's not necessarily going to avoid things. But it's most likely going to be a background element. Nika already has his own violent tendencies and will get into trouble with the street racers most likely, and probably still with Sai at some point again.

Noji could have made the decision (whatever it was) to pull NIka and Nami out of that life, doesn't mean the game will avoid all mention. We have Emilio being a blackmarket fence still after all.

Yeah, I get that but this was always a possibility, the more likely, the problem never was Nami being a Zane was both of them being. So is really no new information beside that we always knew that Nika could not really be one.

Yeah, but I just look at the amount of plot threads Ocean has to work and too add all od the Mafia rules when not in WiaB it is perfect... makes me worry
