SG is a genuine masterpiece.
It invokes emotions in you that you've supressed for a long-time, an MC that a-lot of people can relate to in some way or another.
Genuinely amazed by this game & I've not even finished it yet.

Genuinely amazing. I went with Bella for my first playthrough (probably the standard route)... No spoilers for the ending, but damn.
I really can't wait to see where this game goes..
I'm gonna go collect myself & put my strong face back on now.

You apparently stopped following the game a long time ago. Ocean has already reworked the healing theme several times and now no one needs to be healed except for Vic.

Oh, so Nika's going to therapy with Amber over his panic attacks/issues with Summer for what reason? Zara doesn't have performance issues that cloud her judgement? Bella doesn't have a personality disorder cause by the issues with her sister? Nia doesn't have trauma over Summer disappearing? Sasha doesn't carry medication for panic attacks? Sonya doesn't have trauma from a culturally repressed life she wants to escape? Nami doesn't have issues that she and Nika can't speak about that Nika wants to talk about with AMber? Marla is going to therapy for what reasons?
If all you understand about healing is physical you've missed most of the story. Most of the healing is about mental issues.

Don't you remember why the foster mother sent MC to a psychologist? That's the only problem that has an explanation in the game. But the rest of the problems you came up with yourself.

- Marla hit a girl with a car and goes to the same therapist as Nika. You can see her breakdown after class if you walk in without knocking.
- Sasha does carry medication for panic attacks. Chapter 5 after the book club
- Sonya is trying to escape a culture she sees as repressive to experience more of life. It's why she lies to her brother so she can play tabletop games
- Nia has a breakdown from being alone immediately after you leave her apartment.
- Zara has issues from her mother trashing her self esteem that effects her. Outside of interacting with Zara, Bella will even tell you about it.
- Bella has personality issues from events involving her sister. Play her route and read.
- Nami has issues from how she behaved interacting with Nika in the past. Nika and Nami reference it.

Not sure, I do recognize it.
But I'm not surprised actually. I'm bad with faces, as in seriously bad with them. I can watch a tv-show or movies without realizing I've seen an actor before, even well-known ones. People can come up to me and I've no idea who they are. Ocean's big chested girls all tend to blur together for me. But not recognizing Noji makes me a bit sad.
