Nah, again you haven't played the old version of WiAB so you only think you know what Ocean is about. You are right that he cared about rating, but that was solely for season 1. I mean, think about it from his perspective: is it worth to add 1-2 lewd scenes and cut off the potential reach of the game, revenues from Steam and number of hooked up teenagers who will come for more if they familiarize themselves with the title now? If you think about it, it absolutely makes sense. Not only that he made a little fortune selling the game, but his potential for a fan base now has increased to people he would have never reached if he made it 18+. And now, nothing really stops him from making it lewd, although tbh. it would be really weird if the MC turned from an impotent to the f***-machine, so I reckon the upcoming episode will only ahve some mild lewd scenes

I have and anyone can play the old version of WiaB it looked like shit but had more sex scenes, now it looks great and only has sex with the girlfriend nobody else. So you are blessed and cursed at the same time with the new version, I got the game on steam and I was so hoping the MC would have sex with Leia, She wanted it but of course we didn't get shit, At this point nothing surpises me with Ocean. I'm really looking forward to fans reaction to Season 2 chapter 1 of Summer's Gone when and if it comes out this year or the beginning of next year which will be 2 years in December from the last major update just in case you didn't know. I'm looking forward to see how people react to the Update ,If it was worth the 2 years of waiting or it's shit and they waited for nothing, that will be funny to watch I'll be sure to grab my popcorn and soda. And If I'm wrong and it's Great I'll own up to it and say I was wrong ,We will see in the next coming months or several what are we at 7500 renders or something given it takes what 1 month for 100 renders to be made or is it less and the goal is 8k so judge the time we have left to wait by that and he got a new rig to speed up the progress not to long ago, It's great to see how that is working out.

Of course, how long is too long varies by person, and there are other ways to mix things up that don't involve working on two major projects in parallel, but there are definitely people who have publicly credited their high output of creative works to being able to jump between different projects rather than feeling trapped into focusing on a single project...

At least creative block is a real problem for writers and screenwriters, unlike burnout. It's good that Ocean doesn't have creative block because he wrote the plots for SG and Wiab in advance.

But you're mistaken about one thing: switching to another project might distract you, but it doesn't solve the problem. To get rid of creative block, people take time off and have fun or pursue their hobbies. As I wrote earlier, Ocean doesn't have problems with creative block, but he also likes to rest. During the entire time he was working on Chapter 1 of Season 2, he took a break of at least 8 months. If he hadn't taken breaks, the game would have been released long ago.

P.S. There are many people who worked on their only project and achieved success and worldwide recognition. But there are no people who did several projects at once and achieved anything serious.

Quick and to the point so I can go back to work.

Usually, I only handle tax stuff and other shitty things like that on Sunday, but I wanna be done with the update so I work today.

I rendered about 320 renders in the past 10 days, some of them are the same render with just the texture being different.

With everything that’s happening to the adult industry: from Steam apparently not allowing early access adult games anymore to the state of Michigan proposing a bill that would ban porn, or anything deemed immoral entirely, I’m gently preparing for a potential worst case.

Sure, those preparations add a bit of render time, but it’s manageable.

I hope, I’ll never need them.

About 260 were new renders and that puts us at around 7890 stills.
Almost 8000, yo.

I’ve also coded the main menu and part of the gallery.

There are still some screens left, but I should be fully done with the main menu and the structure of all additional submenus in the next two weeks.

I also think it will be a little more than 8000 stills… More like 8200 stills.

Steam & USK.
In the last log, I mentioned that Steam will review SG S1 again to determine if it’s suitable to be classified as a non-adult game. It’s currently rated as a weird in-between mix.

It took them about 15 days to get back to me and I think they have reviewed the game and were fine with it (?)
Someone from the escalated legal team contacted me for all the USK documents again, and they are currently reviewing them.
I should get an answer next week and hopefully, even Merkel can then get a copy on Steam.
