I read a message on Ocean's Discord (I think), it said something along the lines of feeling unwell, so the dev log would be delayed by a day. We should be getting it in a few hours if there are no further issues.

It's up to the fan who makes the patch here. Alain only started because of how much was cut from ch5 beta/season 1, so there's no real track record for time.
It also depends on what happens in SG Season 2 - if Ocean reveals more of Nami and Nika's backstory, a patch might not even be possible or make any sense.

they are brother and sister and the reveal maybe gonna show they are not related but clearly they are not fucking roomies lol, they are brother and sister until they reveal something new!!! thats damn good story, if they are not related and all their life they thought they were!!! thats big emotionnal damage here

We'll have to wait and find out - and the modders can only work out if it's worth their time to make a patch once they know. It's too much of a moving target to make theories about these days, and there's too many changed variables from what happens before in WiaB to what happens next in SG. Best thing is to not get attached to any one theory, believe them all equally.

I just realised there is no reason now that Katie can't be a LI in SG, seeing Nika's related to no one we've seen in Ocean's other game. I mean why stop with Ayua? Ocean can bring the big guns.
We don't know why Noji cares. Might just be that she doesn't like having to clean up after Nami, seeing we know she doesn't have that issue with Nika.
I actually suspect it's to do with whatever 'deal' Nika and Nami made. When Nika tell's Nami she's got responsibility for the way he is, there's nothing saying that Noji doesn't know what happened between them, and tries to keep them apart for that reason.
Also, this kind of topic is cyclic. I can't wait for an update so we can get past the repeated matra's of "why is she even red?"
Thers is simply no way Ocean can make a living writing a game like that. And it is clear he wants to make a living doing it. So any theory that results in Ocean not making a living, means the game is dead. It's that simple. Same as the gun scene, same as edgey dolphin jokes, it's only alive in our memories now.
This is a great idea (I really like it), but it still couldn't happen. For the emotional damage to feel real, Ocean would have to make people believe they are related. At which point, the game gets blacklisted. The only way he could do it is if the reveal happens in the same chapter as they talk about being related or something. But then, there's no emotional depth, so it would be a waste of time.
I don't know what Ocean has in mind, but it has to be believable. So I'll just wait and see. My gut feeling is that he'll clarify Nami's relationships with people in some way to prevent there being any issues with the story.

Ocean write roomies and modder change the roomies....no need to far fetch and wont lost anything for living

People have been arguing this for a while. You can keep holding onto it as long as you like, but you'll most likely end up disappointed. Ocean will most likely make it very clear to avoid any perception that even hints of it, he's already had enough drama over it.
