You can go back a year and find I used to defend Ocean because I was a big fan, but there is only so much I was willing to excuse. Once WiaB got Mafia'd and the compelling story got foundationally obliterated, which will undoubtedly lead to another rework of earlier chapters, I lost all faith in Ocean's abiility to tell a coherent story, much less finish one.

Also if Steam say no, we won't be seeing any sex (at most Nika goes down on Bella) as Ocean stated SS isn't a strong enough platform to independently release on.

Oceanlab's output is fundamentally insubstantial; it's a 'just vibes' aesthetic with no narrative foundation. Devoid of context, character, or even a basic plot, it's no wonder that an endeavor which never truly began is now failing to conclude in a satisfying way. The surprise surrounding its failure is, itself, surprising.

It has been over 18 months since the last update, so it's tagged according to site rules. Update is supposedly coming in December or January.

It's great knowing the next update is a big one......but C'mon Man.
Ocean is his own worse enemy doing such a big update. His development
time is slow{yeah I'm being nice here }and it has been 18 months.
Then he's tells us yes I know it's a big update for 1 chapter.......

And now it's been split up to make 3 chapters instead of one.
The man is feeling the heat to finish the second season.
Then the walls come crashing down as he gets the boot from
Patreon......What's next? Only time will tell but I do know that I
won't act surprise if that update takes another 3 months.

I just looked at Ocean last dev log again and it seems like he just flip flopping regarding a universal launch of season 2. On the previous log Ocean said he would not worry about the steam and gog version of the game but when I looked at the dev log for this Sunday he said SS will get season 2 alongside with steam and gog. If it a universal launch then we won't see a release until late January or February of next year since S2 will need to past reviews for both store fronts.
