You're right about everything except one thing. This pirate forum is full of people who stopped donating because of the scam you're talking about. These people understand that if Ocean continues his manipulations, they won't want to come back, and the remaining subscribers will start leaving. Even idiots get smarter over time, and you can't keep milking them forever.If we get an update with nearly 9000 renders + animations in 21 months, that's the same as 3x3000 render updates every 7 months. Ocean just shot himself in the foot by trying to release three update's worth of material as one update.
So we'll see what the case is when an update finally drops ...at some point. The longer it gets drawn out, the less interested people become in finding out what's happened. I can guarantee this thread will be 'fun' whenever there's an update though.

There are also a few people who have an account only to discuss a specific game and share their opinion. Because sometimes on Discord or Patreon there are fans who might not like what you say — or even the creator themselves

100% agreed. It's scary how a couple of these companies have so much power that they can dictate the commerce done on entire platforms, what can be sold and what can't be. Payment processor companies should be treated like utility companies with the duopoly they got going on. Not to mention, even the reason is stupid to begin with. I'm all for protecting kids from mature content, but that should be limited to the minors. Why are adults getting censored? Fuck Collective Shout.
