Yes, I know, man, the guy who recommended SG to me only talks about that when I ask him about the plot. There's no denying that SG is one of the best AVNs visually speaking.

we're still waiting for the same update as when you left lmfao . it should have landed this month, probably why you see the thread lighting up , but it's not likely to happen . so as usual the effervescence on conjecturing when it will land , venting our frustrations, and people arguing them . lmao . the usual .

Jesus, I'm kind of glad I partially forgot about it then... two years for an update is insane.
and when the update drop its gonna be like 1 hour the most then another 2 year wait lol. this is sad
8,000 ish renders will probably take more than an hour to get through while playing the game.....

if there's 4 routes, there's gonna be 2000 for each. and that's gonna an hour. maybe 2. maybe 3 if you take your time to read.
Please open your speed reading class to new members.....2,000 renders in an hour, that's roughly 33 renders per minute...even in three hours you're looking at and are reading and making decisions on roughly 11 renders a minute, which maybe is doable. Who plays just one route on these games anyway.....

but for the sake of the argument . 4 hours. okay . that's fine. the next update will still be AT THE VERY LEAST a year away after that !
that's why I'm never trying an EA ever again. waiting is too frustrating.
Its not that branched out yet dude, relax. There is a few different scenes for each "route" but nothing major yet, so at most it will be like 500-1k of route exclusive renders.
I’ve not been active on F95 for awhile, it’s nice to know nothing has changed. BaDIK is far more popular than I can understand, MrDots is still churning out long incest games, and Summer’s Gone is still waiting for an update.
The worst thing that happened to SG is the complete reboot, Ocean should never have changed a thing. We’d still be waiting for an update but I’d like the story a lot better.

I think BaDIK is popular because the shitton of roads, the boatland of content , and the number of LIs you can have fun with.
The writing is maybe immature but coherent. it's also very sex positive.
I think that's gist of it.
SG seems a bit more mature though. even though the premise is still "Pornland", it tries to tackle it in a less comedic way.

The dialogues aren't. Spamming Bibi and others preteen slurs make the characters really childish.

I dunno, you can have childish language quirks without the tone being childish .
gives characters some personality .
some people do in real life. I think it's more typical to areas that accomodate multiple languages at the same time, a lot of people have weird expressions.
since ocean is german and makes his games in english it makes sense.
it's not necessarily childish or "preteenesque" maybe it's just the way he speaks himself.
I wasn't talking about the dialogue to begin with , I was more talking about the general tone of the game. You can convene that the tone of SG is generally more serious than BaDIK at the very least
Ummm, the "one hour" is for those who keep their left hand fixed on the TAB-key and their right hand on their... well, you get the picture.
Then why this game is in the category of AVN it should be called VN only and should be on playstore!

eh.... it's not the smut that make those type of AVNs special anyway. it's the connection you have to the characters and how invested to the story you are.
Perso I'm not interested in watching vanilla sex with whatever character with SG, I just want to discover more of the world and the story. I mean sure I wanna know nika will dip his noodle and with whom, but I'm less interested in watching it than seeing the context in which he does and the emotional /personal /social fallout of said acts.
I mean if it was a movie, it would be classified as a character drama.
I guess I'm in the majority ? I wouldn't know
but you're right, at the moment it's more tasteful erotica than full blown smut. I guess it could be rated 16+ right now.
