Btw did a re-start yesterday, and is it just me or does it feel less smooth, for example the new parts of the car crash scene made the "wouldn't it be easier to just put you down" comes out differently without the "A simple Cut" "Right here", without it the gun part seems misplaced.
To me the first seems much more from someone that is crazy enough to do it, the second version seems too vague and "what if" and not an actual threat to her life. (i am not sure how i feel about the prolonged hand holding) The rest of the scene feels right, though.
If the idea is to have a less deranged mc then the reaction to him also needed to change.
Another is nami being disappointed with us not having brought her rolls, i fell its also not as good as the original, originally she goes away from the mc with an exaggerated but cute "pose" in the new one she places her arm in the table.

TL;DR - quality of renders in rework is much better, while content (story, posing, angles, dialogues) became worse.
And we lost Pajama Nami.

Since the Ocean and the good people of this island have established that our Emo MC doesn't have any sociopathic traits...letting him behave like one wasn't an option.
In the rework, as you can see , he was just wondering if it would be best to put her down to stop her suffering from her inevitable painful reality, that's it and after the gun scene, he put her into a recovery position unlike the original in which he was literally giving out suggestions like...' A simple cut...right here '...THAT'S NOT MY MC.

That's not a flaw, it's intended dude. Can't make a decent Kubrick Stare with thin eyebrows. You know what's a Kubrick Stare right ? A shot where the character stares at the audience with a forward tilt. It implies that the character in question is pissed or fucking instable and the person he's looking is really screwed. Massive eyebrows make the stare looks deeper and eviler.

Ignoring what is the better MC for a moment, the reworked scene doesn't work because without the "simple cut here" part the teacher pulling out her gun doesn't make sense, if its supposed to be a less crazy mc then you also need to change people's reaction to him, aka no more gun, and maybe also no more police.
i agree 100%, the mc used to be quite the interesting character, and he lost some of that, but even still that last scene of 3.5 doesn't make sense even with this softer mc, it would be way to easy for him not to be locked (all he had to do is to push his arm and she wouldn't be able to lock it to the wall), and the foot part is even worse.
guess i will have to keep a copy of the older versions, instead of keeping the latest only as i usually do, because its very unlikely that he would change his mind.

this is one of the best games here on this site, where each character has a unique personality and the girls are graphically well done, in addition to having a constructive story. If you want a game with a story you've come to the right place, now if you want a soft porn that has a nasty third-rate plot story and jump right into the sex scene, it's come to the wrong place.

If cinematics are taking the majority of the time then I'd rather Ocean released the chapters without them and add them for the final release if it will speed up the process. We won't be missing much since all the story is told through the renders.
