this is one of the best games here on this site, where each character has a unique personality and the girls are graphically well done, in addition to having a constructive story. tldr:
After 4 full months: ~680 renders and 2 cinematics
Remains: ~1000 renders and ~4 cinematics

Pretty much proof the game won't ever be completed, at the current speed we are lucky to get 1 full chapter a year and there are 26 chapters left to do.

If cinematics are taking the majority of the time then I'd rather Ocean released the chapters without them and add them for the final release if it will speed up the process. We won't be missing much since all the story is told through the renders.

Ya, quite honestly, if he really wants to do cinematics, I'd love to see shorter ones showing two characters having a detailed kiss, or once sex is involved having detailed animations / cinematics to underscore certain romantic positions and feelings of the act etc. versus longer ones with trees, hair blowing, etc. I mean I understand the desire to show longer cinematics for stage-setting and storytelling advantages, don't get me wrong it's all great and he's very good at it, but if those animations cause significant queuing on the rendering rigs (or just in his workflow if they are taking a ton of dev time) that they push releases out weeks or months then, IMO, they are not worth it given the types of timeframes we're looking at...as noted, a ~30 chapter target length and we're getting a half chapter once every 4-6 months or thereabouts...

And this isn't meant to crap on Ocean or anything like that, many of us are on his Patreon because we like his work enough to get our wallets out to support him, but just literally praying at this point for faster release times and I, for one, would be perfectly happy if additional animations were added into the game at a later point when maybe he gets to the Dr Pinkcake milestone of having what is seemingly a dedicated rendering farm with like 8-10 GPUs. Ultimately it's Ocean's call, and I hope he's able to find a way to speed things along.

The Dev decided to go this way. If it's good for him or not, he have to find out himself. His other game is another story with the full remake style because he wasn't happy anymore with the old style. Because of the complete Drama with two Games i've decided that i wont take the Risk for Supporting him because of the fear that he'll burnout at some point. Love Summer's Gone, Wiab is .... well, ok. But too much Risk that we will never see an ending.

I mean there's no doubt that she must have some kind of connection to her. I guess the problem is not so much the hardware, but the large number of details in each chapter. Ocean makes approximately 200 images per month. If desired, one chapter can fit into 800 images. In this case, we will get 3 chapters per year, and with new hardware, maybe even 4. But for this he need to abandon long scenes of basketball matches with 400 images and board games.
