Ya hope this TBT thing ends up being awesome, otherwise the juice may not be worth the squeeze. The TBT games were terrible in Being A DIK, IMO. I'm praying it's a lot better in this one.

Some music can give your game an extra boost but it can be a bad idea too. Many players don't even play games with sound, there have been several pols about it in the past. And don't forget not everyone is into the same music, so you can be going that extra mile for nothing.
Now, paying 20k bucks for visual novel music is just I mean, there are Royalties free music in the net and even if you don't find anything appealing to you there you can make something like: Chapter 1 Wake up and smell the Coffee, Chapter 2 Lean on Me and so on. Players can play that music in the background if they want and nobody can sue you for it.

I couldn't stand it.Now games with a tracklist that adapts to the scenes is fucking amazing. And I am not the biggest fan of ambient sound and stuff but still is a nice touch. Wouldn't pay 20k for it but I respect it, and it would boost Oceanslab's confidence while working for sure.
So in resume, music from a mall centers and/or moans from porn it's asound off. A good tracklist that adapts to the scene BIG YES!

...now imagine the game would be full of awesome songs like this... 100% worth it just for the immersion alone. If he is able to find low cost "treasures" (!
pleb music played on radio or TV) it shouldn't be that expensive.BTW. Ocean has great taste in music!

No offense but being cut in half doesn't necessarily mean that it will be awesome.
The main reason why it was cut into half was that it is too long (1700 Lines)
I am quite curious about one thing, when did Ocean start reworking previous chapters? Like did he start after he released a X update?

Not in the Patreon version, they don't permit incest & Nami is one of the main love interests. You need to use the patch to restore the original relationships.
Yes they were, prior to Ch 3 MC & Nami were biological siblings, Maja & Vic were siblings, the missing person Bella is torn up about was her sister. Like many devs, Oceanlab retconned his game to comply with Patreon's revised terms.

It's inconsistently implemented in the patch. I think they're struggling to keep track of the two scripts. Installing the typo fix mod corrects a couple of places where they missed it (based on what they used in the v0.2 release).
