You cant really judge whos more popular based on patreon polls because not everyone gets one vote. The more you pay the more votes you get.

Hm, once there are thousand+ people voting, it should be close enough, I'd say. You won't really need many more to get a somewhat represetative result and there's little reason to assume, that the high paying patrons as a group have that special preference, which really, massively distorts the result. At least I don't know, why that should be the case.
Sure, it may change some ranks within low percentages, but that really should be it.

I don't think anybody is saying that she's unpopular. But if she's really "the most popular character" is another question, especially if the deduction from that statement happens to be, that she's actually a well implemented character.I dont understand why is hard for some people to admit Jenny is really popular
If you ask me, she's popular because she's MC's sister, because by now she's got a decent look and because she's got the most scenes for historic reasons. But not because DC and his team really handled her character well.

As said above, as I see it, they should either remove her choices and settle on one path or elaborate them, so the player really has the options, the choices suggest he should have. So you'd have a branch, where she stays really bitchy and pretty much dominates MC and one where she becomes quite a bit more submissive, understanding and "nice" than it's the case now.How would handle the character better?
As it is now, the choices really hardly matter and it would have been better to not have them in the first place. At least that's how I see it.
Edti: Maybe I'm overemphasizing that aspect, but I was disappointed when I replayed a part of her update, just to find out that it was basically a waste of time.

At the beginning, it was a nice break from VNs, graphics were simple cartoons, etc. And it was nice for a year (frequent updates). I must admit that I myself supported (Patron) them for a year. But the more they received per month, the longer the updates took... Am I surprised: no, not at all. As if I was getting money for nothing (the amount of work involved is huge), I wouldn't be in a hurry either.
However I have the impression that they miscalculated and 1,5 year since the last update will finally end with the statement: it's impossible, we have to convert everything to a new engine... lost any hope

Almost certainly nothing. The dev is well aware of what's allowed on Patreon and what isn't and is quite carefully to avoid content that could be problematic. As such it'll only be a problem, once Patreon actually stops allowing NSFW content as a whole.
In that case DC would certainly find other ways to feature the game.

Patreon recently went fully anti-NSFW. Basically credit card companies shut down porn on patreon.
If DC manages the money that he has made off of the game better than he has managed the actual game development, he might not need to work again.

Well, that has been the case for years. In fact this very game was once shut down in the very first crack down back in 2017. But ever since Patreon didn't really enforce their TOS that seriously and many games stayed on, even though they pretty clearly violated these TOS. It seems like now Patreon took another closer look (probably spooked by AI discussions?) and banned a few of these. But as said, that shouldn't concern this game, unless they really want to get rid of NSFW content as a whole.

I was more talking about the general dynamic between the two shifting more heavily, since I was talking about her general writing. it's been a long time since I played but I remember her still being the generic borderline psychotic bitch, only to have that change briefly and occasionally during certain scenes.

I dunno, I'm seeing a lot, seemingly more, of Debbie and Diane videos despite Debbie having outdated art/animations. That Jenny video (and in general) might have the most views but it's not like she's the main attraction of the game. I'd say the family are the most popular characters with Jenny on top, and Roxxy also seems to be doing the rounds.

Still going towards banning it though, currently only the PG porn (for the lobotomites PG porn is no porn) is allowed (this game breaks the under the influence of alcohol as some characters get drunk or drink alcohol

There is no such thing as "PG porn," though your point about being under the influence is well taken when we consider the Erik's game room scene(s). I do not have an account on Patreon in order to file a report, if you feel so inclined and do have account, enjoy yourself.
While I won't argue your statement about coerced consent - that wasn't what the original post I was replying to was about. Nor was "banning" this title. The original post I was replying to was claiming "Patreon recently went fully anti-NSFW." That is not the case, as shown in the link I shared and you reference.
