i don't understand why everyone thinks this is a billion dollar game. It makes $72,000/month split 9 ways and every one is making a little less than $100,000 a year. That's decent money, but it's not some billionaire's mansion money. He's probably going to need to hire another coder soon as well.
So I don't follow this game closely, what is the tech update supposed to bring? By that, I mean what is hyped about it so much? Or is it something like once it's done, major continuations for the story will continue?

That's the thing. No one knows. It's one of the great mysteries of f95. Some say it holds the mysteries of the universe, while others say DC has writers block and can't think of new content

He could have made every month one update with one new sex scene. I mean they have 7 new. There would be still backlash, but maybe less.
The developer is great, he is making a fantastic game. Just slow, because he makes the art alone. I only hope he plans to get help for the art. I am sure that coloring for example could do someone else.
Does he split 9 ways? Is that an official information?
I do not think that 100k are only decent mony for one year. But I do not begrudge them for the money.
If he is still making a dating system and the other 'end game' part, they have surely enough to do for a few years.
Still hope that Coach Bridget get a good story and maybe all teachers little more.
Also hope to see also Lily, Kassy, or Veronica working as a milking cow, also maybe more girls, too, Micoe & Priya making with the MC a drug testrun and expecially Yumi

It is also not the full update log text. On the main Summertime page there is little more information. I posted the full update log also few posts ago.
It is not really a scam. The DC makes only the error not to offer an update every month. It should have been possible with 7 new sex scenes. Or at least most of them.

Yeah, but I think around 70% earns ~20k, which still more in 10 years, but even with wrong numbers, that was not his/her point, I think.
Even 864k every year. Must have gone up the last years, because 2-3 years ago it was around 50k every month.
