Man, I have given up on this game, and "developer", a long time ago. It is always entertaining coming back and checking in on it. Still the same old story as it was years ago. People pissed off about lack of updates, or in this case no updates, and others defending it. Pretty wild that it has the Abandoned tag on it and it is so far staying. Never thought I would see that.

Anyways, it was fun seeing that not too much has changed. Maybe, if I am still alive, when this game does actually finish, I will make a trip down memory lane and play it again. Until then, I will continue to keep myself busy with the myriad of other games out there.

On the one hand, deserved and fortunately finalized.
But on the other hand, kind of sad. It was my favorite game of this genre for a while. I've always looked forward to the updates. But over the years I've learned that it's the way of nature and only 5% of "porn games" are completed.

Our Red String would probably be better if it didn't have traced art and only had a single protagonist. This whole dual protag thing makes the game too unfocused considering how much variable shit is going on in the back in regards to corruption levels and what not. And, well, there isn't really any story going on. Even Summertime Saga gives the girls a notable plot that is theirs and MC has the whole 'my father is dead!!!' thing.

Agree, i wish we had an option to play only as the Male MC, i dont really enjoy playing as Female MC and the male choices for her suck hard so i only go for lesbian route with her but the problem is when i wanna do multiple playtroughs for Male MC it takes so long because of Lena.

Yeah it feels very ironic. But it depends on how you look at it, releasing the tech-update in chunks so that people get to see the progress first hand makes sense to me, it's either that or wait for the complete overhaul in one update. I reckon the wait time will virtually be the same either way.

Good grief, every two months for one character? If we assume every character the MC can currently sleep with is released separately that's over 5 years just to reach where we are now plus the time we've already waited.

However, let's be generous and group some content together. Still going to keep the main family as separate releases.

This game was literally my first porn game ever. I'm still grateful that it introduced me to all this other great stuff, but I gave up and moved on ages ago. The tag brought me back and holy shit, it's still stuck on the same update I last played lol. It seems hard to believe.

If it was up to me I'd not remove the abbandoned tag until DC has proven to be consistent and timely with his updates. Just look at Dr. Bones and his games, the man has been milking people by only providing a single update to his games every year for the last couple of years now.

Jenny and Debbie are already confirmed to be released together for the first update, and DC never said every update would only contain one character route. I'm not saying you don't have a point, just some corrections.

Like you said, even being generous and lumping together multiple characters per update would still take a long time at that pace. I'm hoping that because they're already 83% done with the tech-update, it'll make the updates only a matter of getting character routes playable since they're overhauled anyways, so that we get much more characters per update later on so that it takes less than two years.

Only time will tell.

Theres just no way they can keep up the two months release pace forever,i would be surprised if by the end of the year we are not waiting months and months for a new release.
