Gotta wonder how people manage to miss blatant icons on the main menu. Is it that hard to click around and see what stuff do ? Not like you're gonna format your HDD by clicking around the menu in a pron game. Being too blind for the changelog link is another matter

PC. And the logo literally flashes for a second and doesn't go any further. Doesn't even appear on task manager.



This is the only Ren'Py game it's done it on. I can play the latest Four Elements Trainer and Rogue-Like with no problems, just for whatever reason since the 20.10 update it won't work.
Audio device doesn't seem to be the issue either, tried it without headphones.

Are there any traceback or log files being created in the game folder when it crashes like that?

Glad you found and fixed it. As said, make some screenshots and your gallery will no longer be empty. You can access it in-game with that phone icon you were wondering about, or from within the new button in the cookie jar.

Dude, don't generalize the population based upon your desires. You don't have the data to back up your claim.

There is a lot of discussion on many threads on this site about the necessity for a story-driven experience in these games and VN. Otherwise, why have a game or VN - just go to pornhub or the like. This is about creating an experience and part of that experience is the writing,: conflict, crisis, resolution. Is everyone here for story? No. But 90% aren't here just to jerk off.

Has there been any explanation as to why the tech update is taking so long? Based on the speed of the developers I work with, it seems like they have one person working a couple hours a day on the coding. I see there was a three week delay over a year ago due to posing, but other than that I haven't seen any explanation. Anyone have any insight?

Yes, there has ... it is the conversion of all the art to 16:9 (which is done) and then the repositioning/posing of every one of the characters in the new format, as well as updating all the code that was written by several different coders into one style with proper tagging, flagging, variable tracking, etc. Essentially everything that had been done for 4 years prior to the start of the update was getting an update, techwise.
