every year i come to this thread at least twice justto laugh.. ppl still defend this dev.. and every year i still see that the update hasnt been released lmao..
Programmer as well, to be honest many of these kinds of projects suffer from this. There's no "design spec with a finished product" people can see outside the authors head. Each additional thing they add creates the need for exponentially increasing project size down the road. Because they're only beholden to people paying on their platform of choice, 200 people giving 20 dollars today is worth appeasing for the money in exchange for all the non-paying people that can see the project won't go anywhere or who can't afford to add their side quest of choice to the system. Because there's no design spec to stick to, and there's a reason to not stick to it (funding) there's very little reason not to just bloat the fuck out of it and end up with a project that has 10 million promises and very few completions.
This is exactly the same problem chris roberts has with star citizen too, so it's not restricted to porn games by any means.

So i've read the last 50 or 60 pages of this thread and the most noticeable thing that caught my eye was how users like Senigata, Count Morado and srksrk 68 are constantly attacking and bashing ppl who dare to say something that doesn't align with their opinion about this game and developer... the heck are the mods doing?!

That's because their opinions are usually backed up with facts and evidence. Also, I've never seen any of those guys attack or insult anyone. They just inform people that they're wrong and point out why. In fact, your post calling them out is more aggressive than anything I've seen them post.
EDIT: Also, aren't you the same guy who just left laughing emojis on posts I made like a month ago, presumably because you disagreed with them to the point that you found them funny? That's not attacking though, huh?

Even after this tech update, there's nothing really great to look forward to. 99% of the time for the sex scenes, we get solo scenes, and the very few group scenes that may occur will only occur because DC suddenly remembers their existence, while at the same time, 100% of the scenes that should have been in the game will remain forgotten.
All these harem games, including this one, feature only one to six group scenes (more if we're lucky; it's usually threesomes or only threesomes), or worse, none at all, due to a severe lack of common sense. It is frustrating.
What I said also applies to non-sexual scenes.

For you maybe, but I'm personally looking forward to the Rhonda, Annie, and Judith updates, well as the latinas, more Missy and even the coach. I think there's a lot to look forward to. I'll be in my grave by the time its all out, but still...
Odd choice of name for the game, now that I think about it, considering the story takes place during the school year and one of the original goals was to get a date for the prom, which is near the end of the school year.

It occurred to someone that one person can have multiple accounts (Game Developers) multiple accounts on Patreon, Discord, etc. Maybe that's why games like Summertime Saga, SexNote, Milfy City, etc. have been in development for so long. He jumps from one project to another and generally takes a while to release updates.

couple of years ago in 2019 DC had a vote to enlarge the game from 1280 x 720 to 1920 x 1080 and fixing bugs and cleaning up old code so that why it's taking long
If it was merely that it would not have taken this long. The game has (supposedly) had most of its art assets redone and been basically remade from scratch code wise.
Of course since nobody's played it yet we can't really confirm how much has actually changed, but it's not just upscaling some textures and a bug patch as they're presenting it now
I mean they could of completed the game first, Then do this whole Tech Update. That would have been better milking this game like Bethesda did to Skyrim
