Why would you care about this?

Maybe I don't get it because I don't give money to anyone making indie games, but I don't see why you would care about how other people spend their money?

Surely, the people on Patreon can decide for themselves if a game is worth investing into, every month. If they don't like it, then they can cancel their subscriptions, right? Why would I ever care about people spending their own entertainment budgets on stuff they like?

Frankly... it is not fair to those who are still paying that fraud. Imagine yourself in a situation where you go to a soda machine, put your money in, press the soda of your choice and nothing comes out but your money is gone. It's frustrating.

i deleted my savefile because older saves are broken in newer versions and you need to restart.
this is why there is now a cheat start option.

And did they give any estimate of just how many of these two month releases there are going to be before it's caught up?

2 years we had nearly no infos at all. It started with "this will only take maybe 2 or 3 months, then it is 2 years with no comments and now we get the game again, but widescreen with 99% of the content removed. Mostly same models and nearly nothing is different.
You are still better of playing the last version of the game. Way more content and the next updates for idk maybe 2 more years will have nothing in it that wasn't in the old version anyway. They did not even put all the stuff people asked for into the 2 characters they actually "finished" still no Debbie pregnancy and the model looks horrible. All the talks about upgrading the models was nothing but hot air

So, I played the new game... basically all the content is gone.
You can now play until you impregnate sister and fuck mom (but she can't get pregnant).
everyone else is gone from the game. sister and mom had more content in previous updates

To be honest i don't want to despair for this rewriting of the game, develop from scratch all the game backend is not something that's easy or quick and may give the game benefits in the long run but ofc now that this first release is out i expect that future releases will bring lots of content each time and not a slow release to milk again for years the same content with little addings. If they will cover the old content in few releases (so 6 to 8 months) it could be acceptable, otherwise it will just be another way to milk money but i won't judge before reading at least a couple of the next changelogs.

Do you understand the difference between code that we don't see and code that we do? Do you not understand that underneath the colourful graphics, there's a million lines of code interacting with each other that have no visual signs of existence at all? Do you think they just type "Jenny gets pregnant" and then it just happens in the game or something? Nooo, there's a complex system that manages that. Just like how there's systems that manages the day/night cycle, each individual mini-game, every single story flag in the game, etc. Please don't quote another one of my posts again. Thanks. lol

POV: you have no idea how easy a Ren'Py game is to make AND how slow this progress is for those experienced with it like these devs. the code is honestly probably the easiest part of making this game, the art probably takes more time. Though, having said that, rewriting the entirety of the script of this game has got to be a pretty big task due to the scale of the project, but it should NOT take this long even if only working 10 hours a week on it by a single individual

It's clear as day how the developer wants to do this and I'm baffled he still has the amount of support he does. Not only he reset everything to 0 but he also planned out that the next updates will come every 2 months, while already pointing what content will be in the next 3 updates with arrows.

By the looks of it 6 months from now the "tech update" version might be half as big as "pre-tech update", so give or take 1 year from now the current game MIGHT catch up to what it used to be, only for him to decide to update to 4k or something.

Should've just wrapped the game up fine with the current code and art and started a new one with better coding knowledge or something. Welp. I'm out.

Something I just noticed that I found EXTREMELY funny is that DC disabled patreon comments on this update. He knows he's fucked, he knows the shit people would fling at him and to save face and prevent new retards from stumbling across a tidal wave of angry people and not giving him more of their precious shekels he's doing everything he can to hide.
Edit: anybody have any info or anything on these "daily live streams" to actually see what the fuck he's doing outside of pissing away 2 years of everybody's interest?
