Even if it takes quite some time, not releasing many update does make a lot of sense as long as save games aren't usable. Splitting his updates in monthly-ish releases would certainly be possible but I can totally understand that quite a few people are actaully against it. Playing one large update for 60 minutes and more is just a lot more satisfying than getting those usual 15 to 20 minute updates a lot of other devs deliver. If you add the fact that almost nobody wants to replay the game every time again and again you end up with people voting for really bad release schedules. Many of you fail to recall, that he mentioned months ago, when he started the teacher route, the he was only going to produce 1 at a time to meet monthly updates, but his patreons and many here, voted to do all 4 instead, which he said at the time, would take much longer, and every single one of you supported that decision, yet now you complain simply for your own recollection failure.
I really hope DC can settle for a good compromise since 3 to at best 4 updates per year is certainly not the best way to go, even if they contain combined way more content that the usual 10 to 12 updates some ther devs release. 6 or 7 releases per year seem fine to me.
