It's to be expected in Alpha builds that are developed in this manner. Bare bones to rough structure to detail, with critical editing and revision. Most decent stories are written this way.

But they are supposedly sorting out save incompatibilities moving forwards... Jenny was the last one using the older format, and it's hoped that future updates might be able to be save compatible.

In any case, nothing is behind a paywall. Come back when it's finished.

I'm actually surprised it's taken this long for someone to bring up Star Citizen. I happen to think the parallels between the development of that game and the development of this one are kind of obvious.

Both are examples of projects that, at least to anyone not actually working on them, seem to be suffering from the same problems: feature creep, overly ambitious design, stuff like that.

And the same criticisms (and defenses) are being thrown around for both games, too.

BUG REPORT:

Experienced a cascading set of exceptions when dealing with a pregnant Aunt and Newly "hatched" Daisy. Something along the lines of an incorrect image. To bypass, I had to load a previous save and wait until baby was born and at daycare before letting Daisy out. I'm sorry I couldn't snag a proper log, as there were so many errors.

Going to use this on a few games since they seem to fall into some of the same traps, I am fine with slow updates for some games if there is quality. However I rarely donate to games here is a few reasons why since this falls under several. Uses Patreon or worse changes the tone or intro of the game to "fit" patreon after people have played it awhile, advertise as a NSW game then have no sex in it, 20 hours of play to make the first sex scene, makes people restart (we make saves for a reason) once while learning code fine multiple times I am gone, trying to hard to be a real game or convoluted mechanics for a porn game, all the girls have ginormous tits (cant stand that shit) all you have is 36+ you can keep it, games based on Illusion that have dicks that look like wood rods, or games like DfD that require online system or a convoluted system to play...I don't even play some of the AAA titles based on publishers antics why the Fuck would I support someone in these games that don't fit my style?

That's what I mean, and this is a perfect example of how this model of updates can be confusing and redundant and why DC should restructure the road map. It kind of doesn't make sense lol. In this current dev model, Roxxy has at least 2 more updates coming.

Well, there's no perfect solution. They can't throw it all in one big update because that would last way too long, and they can't split it in two consecutive updates (releasing the first half first and the second later once patreons vote for it again) because then you'd have a full update without real sex scenes, which is something patreons just don't tolerate. So in this area of conflict between release speed/update size, amounts of content and sex scenes they'll have to find a way and went for a compromise. I mean, we do get bigger updates now, so it's likely only 2 or 3 updates per character instead of 4 or more.

Then you're being dishonest about both.

Star Citizen gets millions off a promise of a tech demo while this one has been built and released on what it actually promises. It gives you new story with the characters, the side characters are updated considerably, and with it being 40ish percent done, you really can't say that it's "overly ambitious" when the games own origins is that it was a way for DC to learn how to code.

No, the criticisms aren't the same nor the supposed defenses. That's just not looking at them holistically.

I am having an issue with the latest Android port. When I inspect the first piece of the cow statue, my game locks as it shows the bottom of the statue. I have to close the game completely to continue playing. Anyone else experience this?

How do I print screen in this game. When I click windows+prtsc it print screens the game folder, not the actual in game screen. Very strange. Please, help.
