Debbie hasn't been winning polls because her options are billed as smaller updates that would modernize her art, introduce pregnancy, and otherwise make minor story changes. You can see the polls and their results

I wouldn't be surprised if he's cutting the Gordian knot by rolling her small art/pregnancy/story changes into the tech update, and saving any additional changes for the endgame.

xddd Man i'm not a patreon, but in the end DC owns ALL of this to his fans. And we can exchange the name to INVESTORS instead of fans, because patreons is nothing different than that (just with the difference that the investors doesn't receive their money back, nor a faster realease product xd)
So, it's none of my business, but EVERYTHING has been said if he sees a huge drop in his incomes in a few months, as is happening right now

I'm not saying that she's really popular, nor am I saying that she necessarily will win something anytime soon, I'm just saying that it'll be up to DC for the most part. Last but not least being interesting is still somewhat subjective. There are quite a few people out there, for example, who prefer milfs to school girls in general and likely won't vote for let's say Roxxy or Mia.
I'm sorry, but that's really not on point. Once we are talking about investments, we are talking about concrete business plans, quarterly/yearly goals and actual accountability. You promise something specific and get money to get it done in return.
This whole project was never set out to be like that. The game has always been free and in return DC gets to do what he wants. If anything DC's patreon thing is much closer to some kind of tip jar/donation, where you give money because you like what he does.
That's honestly how people should see all of these games. Having some kind of investor's attitude while giving some bucks to a porn game on patreon is pretty mad, honestly.
There's isn't some kind of huge drop, though. It's a slow and pretty steady decline since the beginning of last year because he's not releasing any major updates. As such the gains from these updates are missing, as they have always been what's driving his numbers. Then again, it's somewhat likely that the trend is going to change once there'll be story updates again.

I understood what you said about polls having specific options, which is why I mentioned Tina as an example. I don't know if people when they hear the “MILF” topic instantly think of Debbie and I have a feeling DC isn't a huge fan of her either. Sorry if I misunderstood you.
Her options being billed as minor upgrades is what makes me believe DC doesn't give a shit about Debbie.
I was curious if DC has done this in the past? Kind of loaded up the polls in favor of someone he wanted to do or knew needed an update. It seems like you said, if your option was Erik/Cedric/Kevin/Debbie ...Debbie would be the clear winner. Or at least we would find out some folks really had a Kevin kink or something lol. Or has DC just ever said well I Do what you voted for ....and this extra stuff cause I wanna work on it?

Well, we had the 0.17 poll, where it was just Jenny and Diane and the loser would get the 0.18. So there was basically no choice at all. Similarly we had very small polls, like the one for 0.22, where it was just Annie or Judith.
I mean, if DC really wants something, he'll just do it, no matter what the polls say. There were quite a few polls which are being ignored (succubus monster girl, linear stories) or have been repeated (tech update) and there's of course always the chance to just add a secret update or so.
Edit: Given that Mia will "soon" be the last school girl to not have a fully finished story, I'd indeed expect DC to push her update at some point in some way, so he could move on to the dating system. Maybe we'll indeed just get a very small poll between let's say Mia and Debbie or so.
I think the problem with Debbie is simply, that she got lots of content during the first 18 months. Which means there's ton of stuff to be reworked, which also means, that her update will feel just as bad as Diane's back then. It'll take 5 months or more and at the end many people won't really feel like they've seen that much new content compared to what she had before.
To me that's the main reason why DC doesn't seem that motivated to work on her update and why many people aren't voting for her, either. It's a bit like with Mia's case among the school girls. Back in the days before she got her update, she was among the most popular ones, indeed the most popular one, given that she was the one winning the poll. But now that she's got some "pretty bad" content, way fewer people like her.

I disagree with the sentiment that Debbie is unpopular. She wouldn't have taken err 4th place amongst all the women voted for in the first tech update lewd scene vote. No worries if you have a bias. She did lose votes but that was after the extremely unpopular remakes of Diane and Jenny. Jenny's was fantastic and Diane's was lacking for sure. Also, as pointed out, she no longer has a full storyline left to tell. Mia was the most popular school girl and her update caused her star to fall.
One man's trash I suppose... I think Debbie is the hottest and best character in the game. I love her personality and the new artwork. I also think the scene with her and the MC in her bed at night is the hottest in the game. The art sorely needs updating. Also the breast play and grinding.

I don't get why people have this weird take that Debbie won't get her remake. Debbie is pretty popular, plenty of fans ask about her here and on other sites. And if DC truly doesn't care or isn't interested in giving her an update, then why would he bother to poll her in the first place?
We have to temper our expectations but I'm under the impression she will get her update eventually, probably get her scenes and looks modernized and maybe some minor story changes or even minor additional content.

DC isn't going to spend nearly 6 months redoing Debbie's content, at least not yet. There's no benefit to him in doing an update like that, all he would get in return is accusations about how he's making money using “remake” as an excuse.
Now if you guys want to delude yourself into believing that Debbie will receive an update anytime soon, so be it.

i don't think anybody is deluding themselves that we get anything anytime soon but honestly it's not like DC is bothered by accusations of milking anyway so i don't think that's a valid reason for why he wouldn't do a debbie remake
Can anyone tell me who this character is? She is not listed on the wiki and she seems to be in the comic shop behind the counter but she doesn't look like Lily without the cosplay.

The full remake is close to certain to happen. Unlike some other things some claim DC should or shouldn't do, it's something he actually promised to do at some point.
For Debbie that probably means, that she's either going to get the full "Diane/Jenny" treatment or nothing significant at all until it happens. I can't see DC adding stuff, just so they have to touch it again once the actual update comes.
But yeah, DC certainly doesn't care about people having to wait a bit longer for update X. If that was the case, we would have neither gotten the main story in 3,X parts nor the tech update
Her character was removed and replaced by Lily. The old character resembles a streamer called Pureruby87.
The OP here on F95 is so outdated, that the majoriy of images aren't actually in the game anymore the way they are depicted. Once the tech update drops, one would hope someone will have mercy to provide a few new ones...

I don't 100% recall what happend, but I guess it was a mix of factors. She was added very early on and I think DC wasn't really that comfortable having her once the game actually became really popular. I don't think she cared about the game at all. Next to that she's also somewhat similar to Kassy, which is another good reason to replace her.

When did I ever say we're going to get it anytime soon? And DC has never been bothered by milking accusations to begin with so how does that factor in? Jennie's update was received well regardless of it being a remake, because it was an actual good update. If you really want to have a gotcha moment over harmless small talk about a character update, at least put more effort into it.

Yes and I think this is one of my major issues with DC not just giving Debbie the Jenny/Diane treatment, because she was only allowed to be voted on once in the tech updates and that was just for a lousy Diane scene. After that she wasn't allowed to be voted on because that could cause a hiccup for whenever the update does finally happen.
