First you say that one cannot decide what people feel, then state that people have donated more than the game is worth. Given that everyone has their own feelings, you can't determine if they've given more than the game is worth to them.I'm not talking about one guy's annecdote, I'm talking about the vast majority of people. You don't just get to decide what people can and can't feel and in my experience if enough people feel a type of way there is some value there. Take the ending of Game of Thrones season eight for example. There is some merit to the ending being shit.
People have been supporting this dev for years for far more than the value of the games worth. Putting just 10 dollars in a month for four years of development is nearly 500 dollars someone has given this dev. Now I'm not saying they are owed anything, but two years of mediocre releases is a real gripe and those people deserve to have their voices heard even if the dev changes anything or not they should know that people feel a type of way about the decisions being made.
Are you claiming the issue is both subjective AND objective? Or that only you understand the objective reality but everyone else is dealing with subjective feelings?
