6 months to see the extra dumpster? I fucking wish. Happy belated 2nd anniversary gentlefolk! At least the main story is now wrapped up. Not too excited for the 6 month wait to see an extra dumpster outside the mall though.
There should be 14 girls you can get preggo atm but there is no preggo sex yet. Basically you can't have fun with them anymore the moment they get preggo until they give birth.eyy pretty new in this game
how many girls you can impregnate? is there preg sex content yet?
I'd agree that they certainly aren't incomprehensible (at all), but it's really a bit more nuanced, especially in this area. Just look at the way people consume cartoons/comic books. People who like for example Marvel comic books often really don't care that much about manga or webtoons and vice versa.Ah the "Disney", "DC", "AAA Gaming", "Fanboy/Fangirl" excuse 'it's a different target audience you can't compare the two' doesn't work as it's the same product type and therefore is the same audience.
Not quite accurate. There should be 14 girls you can get preggo atm but there is no preggo sex yet. Basically you can't have fun with them anymore the moment they get preggo until they give birth.
Iirc it will be possible later in future builds.

Patreon has to be the biggest legal scam of the decade. You can pay 60 bucks over several months and you're still not guarenteed a final game, or even if the game is finished, you won't be able to legally own it unless you pay more into the patreon to get it...I paid the patreon for a couple of months paid a total of like 60 bucks which I felt was fair for an independent project. The updates are few and far between and its clearly a bad monetization scheme because it promotes extending deadlines and reducing work instead of a per update bill (which has other issues but at least incentivizes content). I stopped my subscription because paying 80-100-200 bucks for a game with such a poor release schedule just seems like a suckers game. Until people on the patreon expect different output I have no issue with DCs management or work flow, thats in part why I cancelled, and so long as I'm no longer actively paying I don't care what kind of schedule they work at. If you pay and dont like how the project is being managed pause the sub until you think they are on the right side of you, if you dont pay what do you care?
I think the majority of people who take issue with the project think its a grift and are upset that someone is making out with more money for presumably less effort than they put into stuff.
"Patreon" is supposedly based of the concept of "patron - someone who supports or champions something, as a patron of the arts". Your thinking of Kickstarter or similar Where the purpose is to fund some end product to get them over the challenges of manufacturing or hiring, Patreon is a pay as you go support. The whole point is to pay people to continue active content creation. If you were only interested in the final product you would just pay the upfront fee to get it like Kickstarter, it basically functions as presales. If you are paying patreon to get the end product you arent really using the platform the way it was intended. If you dont like the way they run the project why would you continue to support it?yeah i dont thin kthats why people are mad smart one lol maybe they are mad becvause some guy they are paying to release a game isnt doing anything besides drinking all day and not doing updates and when he does do an update its a tech one and he does that for month and months adds nothing people dont wanna waste monehyh on a game that may or may not get dropped like many games have on this site
i always thought pat and that other one was stupid and never got it im gonna pay you monthly fee for a game which could cost me what over hundred of dollars just for a game in the end to"Patreon" is supposedly based of the concept of "patron - someone who supports or champions something, as a patron of the arts". Not really buying something, but that's what most people now believe that's what they're doing.
But, I don't care either way. That is all...
ahh make sense but i just saw an article saying on patrion the top 3 project is summertime saga he nets 74k a month that pretty impressive specially for all the stuff on thereYour thinking of Kickstarter or similar Where the purpose is to fund some end product to get them over the challenges of manufacturing or hiring, Patreon is a pay as you go support. No offense but I tried your mod and yeah... I would prefer the real deal.^^ I'm sure you did your best and it surely is a neat idea but sadly it wasn't for me.There is *much* preggo sex with my mod: Diane, Jenny, Eve, Grace, Odette, Consuela, Josephine, Tina, Iwanka, Liu and Nadya.
all the usual DC apologists ignoring this gave me a good laugh lolDeveloping visual novels is not as expensive or time consuming as you think, otherwise ORCSOFT and Miel would be out of business. And at least those companies have the decency of putting voice acting in all of their games, and ORCSOFT in particular has a quality of art that DarkCookie could only dream of being half as good.
One of ORCSOFT's titles was also fairly long, 17 hours of read time. And that's a VN with no gameplay, just story and sex scenes. There's also titles like Black Lilith's Taimanin Yukikaze 2, with a read time of 26 hours. Summertime Saga is estimated to have around 28 hours of play time as of v0.20.14] by the way.
You could say Summertime Saga having both gameplay and story on top of tons of sexual content makes it harder to develop, but VN's like Sengoku Rance have all three of those at higher quality than SS and it even has 60 hours of playtime.
Then you could say those are big companies with entire teams and big budgets behind them, but here's the issue; DC as a single person is bringing in as much money as some of the best selling visual novels of all time. The entire Rance series, comprising of 16 games have in total only sold like 1 million copies across a time span of 34 years.
Meanwhile DC has been earning at least 50K$ a month since November of 2018, once even hitting a peak of 80K$ in October of 2021. That's around 3 million dollars even after the cut that Patreon gets.
To put this into perspective, of the 30 or so best selling visual novels of all time (there being 40K visual novels in VNDB alone), the lowest of them, Dies Irae, has only sold 100K copies, at 40$ for the whole thing it amounts to 4 million dollars. The game has a fantastic story (or so I'm told), a read time of 80 hours, voice acting, sexual content and pretty decent art in my opinion.
Obviously that sheer amount of money didn't go all to a single person, not to mention the VN was originally released in 2007. So in short, Summertime Saga's development has no excuse no matter from what angle you look at it.
idk if it's 74k but even if it is, that's not a lot if you split that amongst all the employeesi always thought pat and that other one was stupid and never got it im gonna pay you monthly fee for a game which could cost me what over hundred of dollars just for a game in the end to

You do completely miss the whole reason why Patreon exists. It's not for the subscribers. It states plainly in its Terms of Use: "Our mission is to put creators first." And it's not a marketplace for buying/selling - it's a place to donate to creators as a way of saying, "good job, keep doing what you're doing, I'm enjoying your creativity." If a person thinks they are donating $1 or $10 or $100 per month to "buy" a product - it's their own fault for not understanding what they are doing.i always thought pat and that other one was stupid and never got it im gonna pay you monthly fee for a game which could cost me what over hundred of dollars just for a game in the end to
And taxes. And business costs (DC's websites and the usual business costs). Not to say he isn't earning a pretty penny, because he is - but then, millions have played his game - so he should receive some kind of consideration for that. Bully for him. Don't we all wish we could receive that much doing something we enjoy and being our own boss?idk if it's 74k but even if it is, that's not a lot if you split that amongst all the employees
