DC doesn't want to hire more people to update the code. He wants one person to update and consolidate the code.

It were the dev of this games begging to other donate for them to made this game as full job. Secondly, we being promise for every post that he post in the patreon and discord about new content. So you could lie to your self we donate is not an investment all you want and compare with tip. But tip only paid one with no promise of future content and development, yet and it is income of a lot of people respect it. Third Patreon is not a tip place, it a place for other to getting fund by other. Tell me what kind of people getting fund from other and could not deliver they promise entire 2 year. Subscribers aren't tipping/donating for the game duel to they are funding it. Respect those Subscribers.
When you begging other for money you have no right to made like they giving you out charity or even out of enjoyment.

It varies from thread to thread; toxicity, shitposting, trolling, kink shaming, fanboying, nay-saying, autism, ignorance, and sheer stupidity, are present at different levels; you just have to pick the mix that you are comfortable with. Extended development time and popularity certainly don't help, as in the case of this thread; people get bored, and the more popular, the more riffraff are attracted to it. Fortunately, I have a high tolerance and even get a little chuckle out of it.

Complaining and drama are different though. A person can complain when the weather is bad. That doesn't mean someone casually walking by will then start an argument with them about how rain is actually good for the crops or whatever.

And yet here we are. I didn't even complain and a small drama ensues. Just curious as to what caused the drama here ( and many other threads)? My take is someone complains too much, others disagree...lather rinse repeat...MANY pages later still no common ground/solution - drama. Never said you couldn't complain or are wrong to and - complaints often involve disagreement at many different levels/intensities.

If raising more than $900 for LGBT charities counts as getting paid, then yes, I'm getting paid for my work modding this game. I'm also paid with the likes and hearts and positive feedback, and the knowledge that I'm making the world a better place, one orgasm at a time.
If you meant my work defending DC, I don't need any payment for that. As I've said many times, I don't, can't, and won't defend how long the Tech Update is taking. I only push back against the notion that he owes anyone anything in exchange for the money that they gave him voluntarily. I have no idea why anyone gives DC money, but I guess they have their reasons, and we should respect that. Other people giving him money doesn't entitle YOU to more frequent updates. If YOU have given him money and YOU feel ripped off, cancel your Patreon membership and ask for your money back. Don't complain about it in a forum that DC doesn't visit, where no one has any power to get the Tech Update finished or get you your money back. Find a more productive use of your time and stop wasting ours.
