Reminder that they could have just not done any of the posing that has taken them, what, 2-3 years now? They could have just not done any of it. The game could have simply not had slightly bigger backgrounds and whatever other unnecessary nonsense the tech update is supposed to add. Reminder that if this tech update is so important they could have simply release Summertime Saga part 2 as a separate download and not have had to remake a single scene. How many years of work that has gone in the tech update could have simply been skipped entirely.
They can still do this and spare you the next 3-25 years it will take for them to finish the reposing of all the scenes. They could scrap the tech update today and have more content out in a few weeks if they simply released the new content as a separate download. If they wanted to the content would be out very soon. The only thing keeping them from releasing more content is hubris. The tech update took too long to finish so they fell for the sunk cost fallacy and kept going instead of scrapping it. Just like it took him 5 years to realize the starvation hollow cheek faces with wrinkles were not working and he had to redraw all the characters.

And whenever you feel like visiting an older location, play an older minigame, or -- beware! -- boinking a girl of the pre-tech-update game, you need to exit and load the old game? Or does such old content magically repose itself in the post-tech-update version?

Play a different game is a good activity that I heartily recommend to anyone. Some good games out there.

Sorry to say this but I played at least the 20.12 Version and now after just 4 new Updates 13. 14 . 15 and 16 the old Saves dont work and all my completed Achivements are gone..I fucking Hate it!
I loved the Game, but now I begin to hate it to restart all the Time. And even with a "Save 20.16" Its not what it should be.
Cause not everyone do´s all the Achivements or Play the Routes with the Milfs/Girls like I would do.
I will wait once more for the Next bigger Update and start from Zero..

Old saves *do* work, for years now. You should be perfectly able to use your 0.20.12 saves. Also, there is always the possibility to start a new game and choose the "New Content" option.

I tried it. My money was gone half of the Stories are not Completed.
And I said I will start from the Beginning when the next Bigger Update will come.. not only some Bug Fixes or 5 more Scenes

This is because some of the stories' progress needed to be partly rolled back in order to enable the new content to trigger. How else would you play new dialogs and scenes that are inserted in between? All this was stated in the changelog.
I'm kind of new here, so I'm wondering what is this "Posing" thing that people are arguing about. Can someone explain that?

Most of the 19,498 images in the game are not fully assembled images (if they were, you'd need 100k+ images for the game). They are, instead, pieces which need to be posed as layers to create the final scene. With the change in display ratio from 4:3 to 16:9 - not only were the backgrounds needed expanded, but then all the pieces need to be coded for proper placement on the backgrounds. Hence, Posing.
For example, here are the 174 layered "paper doll" pieces used in v0.20.16 for Roxxy to create various poses, emotions, etc. Plus, there are 404 Roxxy character composites already made that also then need posed on backgrounds for other scenes. Also, there are 2k background images in the game (some are actually 'finished' composited scenes, but many are backgrounds for which then character layers are added to create scenes).
Out of curiosity, how hard would be to mod in lines that expand the pregnancy mechanic a little bit? For example if you get one of the girls pregnant for a second or third time they will mention how the MC has knocked them up before or say you knock up Eve one day, Grace the next and Odette the day after that once they have told they MC they are pregnant the would be an extra scene where they acknowledge how weird it is they got pregnant so close to each other.

Such would all be possible, but complicated. You would have to consider many different combinations of situations.
The game already provides some such conditions, e.g. when you knock up Jenny a second time, the dialog will be different. Or depending of how far you are in the Roxxy story line, Becca will react differently when you are being cought boinking Tina. But that's all basic and only scraps the surface.
I remember DC once said they would put more effort into such things once the game is more finished, also because if you do it now and add events later, it would most likely have to be done again. And again. And again.
Btw/ did you know it's possible to knock up Eve, Grace and Odette on the same day?

Does anything special happen if you do? Like special dialogue? Personally i try to get girls pregnant on different day it gets a bit messy otherwise
