You have poor context comprehension and poor reading skills if you thought I was jealous of anyone.
My only point was to illustrate why summertime saga hasn't had an update in ages. I don't see why anyone would be cheering this fact on and running interference for said fact. It's baffling to me, as someone who likes the game and wants to see it return to it's former glory and update schedule. A schedule and pacing, I might add, that 100's of other minimal devs & solo devs manage to stick to quite easily.

Maybe your strawman was to claim I was jealous of patreon? I'm not. That part of my post was not about Dark Cookie or Summertime as a game. Patreon was never intended to be a place where games are sold behind a paywall. Which is effectively happening because they don't enforce their rules properly and also benefit from turning a blind eye.
It's hilariously dishonest to gaslight and pretend it's "jealously" when someone brings up systematic failings in the way a system works.
Edit: Also nothing was off topic. Both tie into the delay of summertime saga due to incentives and my post was directed at a quote of what someone else brought up, blaming the generic boogeyman of "capitalism" for the game's delay. Which is hardly the case.
