Most people that complains are the majority that are getting a free game and has no idea about game development, I do not like the wait either but I understand why they wanted to do the tech update. The game was already getting slow and bloated, partly by the limitation of the engine. They wanted to make the pregnancy consistent with existing poses and reduce the amount of storage\memory required for the game by efficiently implementing the animations and poses. This required a lot of recoding and posing, so they figured they should rebuild from sketch and start with a new engine while they are at it. They already have made the game so how hard can it be, in the end really hard! They misjudged the amount of work, coding and posing seems to be tedious work when you already have a lot of content that you want to recreate. 99% of the art is already done, but the posing and coding is the backbone of the game and could become a buggy mess when done wrong. I am impressed what they have achieved, to bad it took years to get to this state. In the long run, it will benefit the game and future content. As a fan and freeloader, I'm glad that they sticked with it and not abandoned the game a few months ago. Don't mind of you agree or not, an opinion is just an opinion and everyone has one.

There are still a lot of old animations in the game, what has the author been doing all this time? Not only has he been remaking the game from scratch for 4 years, but there is also no remastering of old animated scenes, why do people donate to him, for beautiful eyes?)
the main reason for the rework was for the back-end to be updated and optimised so that the game doesnt have compatibility/optimasation issues in future development, NOT to update the art. that being said, if the dev wants to take this amount of time then i would expect most of the art to be reworked AND not to be missing any content... but here we are with ~10% of the content AND (almost) no reworked art. nice

Nah dude, it's a point and click game with a budget of almost 70k that's been working for 3 years on updating already existing content. This is not just a development issue, it's either a DC is dog shit at managing projects issue or a scamming issue at this point and him releasing the teachers stories update with 3+ years of development times under his belt for this tech update at this point and leaving one of 4 teachers content out has put me firmly in camp 2.

I've been following this game since 2017 and was a patron for literally years, this shit is just ridiculous.

But hey let's make a bet - hold on to this comment, cause I mean it. Once the tech update is finished, if DC starts putting out new content on a 6 months cadence now that everything's been "cleaned up" I'll cashapp you 50 bucks. If it takes longer than that, you do the same. We got a bet?

The team exist out of three people (art\code\story), somehow they did managed to get some help for posing. Just check the credits of the game, main problem is that most developers don't want to work on a porn game unless it is anonymous and well paid. End of the day this is a passion project with backers of fans, so keep your expectations a bit lower than an average indie game on steam. I'm not gonna bet on the goodwill of others, but I can see their commitment to the game. Most of the art has been updated by DC in the meanwhile, but the coding is going slow and steady. Its a choice, I admit. But with reasons, for sure.

I promise you if DC put up a temporary contract for a length of 3 months to fix up an indie game's code base, they'd have people jumping at the opportunity and the experience of working on one of the biggest patreon page games on the site.

If you're accepting 70k a month in people's donations, idk if you can really call that a passion project. That's just a job. There's not even any full-time workers on this except for DC. He could put up a 10k temporary contract for 3 months of work to get the coding fixed up and get paid 210k over those 3 months.

The reasons sound like he's getting paid to do basically nothing and taking advantage of his fan base. And I've got 50 bucks that says even after this tech update his releases are not going to speed up.

I think you forgot the most important part of the budget, which is he makes 70K+ a month on patreon. He makes more money than physicians I know and does who knows what with it. I know for certain most of the money is not going back into the game
