I won't defend his dog shit project management. He ignored the tech debt until it blew up in his face, He sat back and paid people to do work without ever checking to see if they were doing it in a way that wouldn't blow up in his face. He made this bed now he must lie in it.

a bed made out of dollar bills. he had no incentive to check what the coder was doing as long as the money came in and i doubt he's going to take any damage from it. i think someone said STS made more money during the tech update phase then it did while he was doing updates. it's just a huge flaw with the patreon system.

Oh, I agree. Never was a big fan. Or the stats for that matter. The latter reminded me too much of the old dating sim flash games.

Sandbox is also eh in my book. If you want to make a sandbox game use another engine. Ren'py is more for heading from scene to scene with a couple of variables. You know, the stuff EvaKiss makes.

Well, he hasn't beaten the master yet. Crowchild(HTH2) is still milking his patreons since like 15 years(2008-today). It could be a similar case on the long way.

Well, technically it's just part of DC's monthly summary, which is usually released at the end of the month. I'm not saying this means anything, but it seems like some people seem to get a bit ahead of themselves... in case some will be disappointed when nothing changes afterwards.

If you have been to the recent streams, DC's discord and Patreon posts (where DC actually interacts) they were complaining more than usual lately and IMO that is the main reason why DC is putting another pre-tech update. He could care less about this pirate site, he has interacted here no more than 10 times in all of the thread's existence.

If you actually think he is putting another pre-tech update just so this thread gets the "abandoned" tag removed please let me get some of what you're smoking.

DC doesn't care about an abandoned flag.

If he did, he would have dropped something BEFORE it got slapped on the thread...

Like j4yj4m mentioned the other day, all he had to do was add one new scene to he current game anytime in the past 18 months to avoid the flag. An Easter special, or anything, like he had done with the 7 pre-tech updated until Oct 31. It didn't even need to be more than a few still images and it would have sufficed.

That ya all think you changed anything continues to show how cloudyheaded some of ya all are.

He's been putting out reports at the end of the month for the past year.

Why do it NOW after the tag was put in place instead of anytime in the past 18 months to avoid the tag? He is doing it for the constant complains in Discord, Patreon and Picarto.

DC could've literally put a single scene or an easter special in the last 18 months in order to avoid the tag here. He doesn't care, he never interacts here.

The game has enough traction and fame all around the internet that he doesn't need F95 anymore, it's the biggest VN Porn Game in the entire internet, if you search for any adult VN game it will take you less than 2 minutes to find Summertime Saga, there's SS videos in PH with millions of views.

Dude hasn't commented here since 3 years ago, I don't defend him, he is incompetent and did not estimate nor handled the tech update how it should have been handled.

If you really think he cares more about the complains on a Pirate Site where 95% of people complaining don't give him any kind of revenue instead of the thousands of patreons, Discord members and Picarto viewers where he actually interacts and stays you are coping.

I am not defending him, where did you see this as a defense? All I'm saying is that the tag changes nothing in DC's mind nor has anything to do with the yet another pre-update to be released.

If you'd like to stay in Cloud 9 and think that DC is scrambling through his PC and putting out a pre-tech update because of a tag here, please go ahead and think that.
