Honestly, I'm surprised that NLT kept it up so well this long. If you are essentailly producing "the same game" again and again and again you'll end up like ICSTOR at some point. Yes, it may get you a lof of money, but it must be sooooooo mentally exhausting.

what is the difficulty here really? NLT boxed themselves in that world of "hell vs heaven".
Treasure of Nadia was great imo because it had elements of a Tomb Raider-like flair. LE a Cluedo story of who killed the guy? But Genesis Order... hell vs heaven, demon girls and angels. There is no real purpose when you think about it. The game is more about unlocking the scenes and progressing with the ladies than the story imo. I havent played Serpent yet.
If NLT would tap into a completely new setting and adapt a better story i think they can bounce back.
Summertime Saga feels like it's at an end anyway. Most people play it for the wincest and aside from not being able to get Debbie pregnant... what else is there missing except MORE sex scenes? The ice has been broken if you know what i mean. We all hate blue balls, but to me, it's the build-up that makes the wincest worth playing. No one believes a story where the mom drops to her knees and just sucks the dick of her son.

i think a big problem is thanks to guys like dildorog we've already seen pretty much every summertime saga girl getting fucked in every position there is and all of that in better quality than DC will provide, so a new debbie scene where you see a bit of her titty doesn't do much for me. also i've played through the debbie and jenny route for at least a dozen times already. some new art and dialogue is just not enough to make it interesting again for the 13th time.
what was really needed would be some some real new story content like ronda, annie or judith but we're not getting that for who knows how many years.

I'd like Dildorog's stuff more if he would use more expressions. Eve having her kinda down bored face while getting fucked in 9 out of 10 of his animations gets old pretty fast. You'd think he'd copy more expressions from the actual game.

I'd go a step further and create dedicated sex positions like "cowgirl" "doggy" "missionary" and "standing" depending on the setting and situation with preferred finishes, the generic "inside" "outside" "face" and "mouth".

Not sure about dildorogs stuff but have seen a ton of clips out there that were not in the game some really good ones.
At this point my main problem is I just wanted to finish out the OG concept the way it was playing out with the old version so for me the rest of the present cast of girls with the prom/dance whatever to be finished after a few years I would probably play the redo anyways... I literally may be dead before this shit finishes.....

There is no file " 00console.rpy ", so the console can't be enabled. The file " 00console.rpyc " is encoded. So that can't be changed unless you know the code.

I'm pretty sure DC isn't from Europe, considering he says repeatedly that he's on EST. And I don't see how you got 200k a month in earnings. At best, the majority of his supporters are probably the lowest tier, so he's probably making under 40k a month on average, and I think I'm being generous.
Patreon takes their small cut, taxes paid out to the government and then he has to pay his coder, his writer, his posing team, then pay his animator or animators, plus the occasional hire when he has someone do colors after doing the linework.
My estimation of his annual income after everything is said and done is about 150-180k. It's still quite a lot, but not the numbers some people are guessing.
With all that being said, it's still moving really slowly, development wise, and I don't think anyone here would disagree.

i havent been keeping up with this game as much as you guys but every time i come back to it they remove more content which is sad to see because this was the game that got me INTO H games

When he stopped showing how much exactly he was making a month he was making 58,036 a month, 2.18 per patron. We don't know how much it is now but let's just say it went down to 2, we can say he's making anywhere from ~64-70k at least a month. So he's making 640-700k+ a year. And he still could be making more. His patreon was made well before may 2019, so it's possible he has a founders plan where patreon only takes 5% of his earnings. I doubt he would have switched to the pro or premium plans that take 8 and 12%. So after patreons cut he's making 608-665k+ a year. Including him there are supposedly 10 team members who knows how much he is paying them and how much they actually work on the game, but regardless with how much money he's making + the fact that it's a team of 10, the pace of the updates and amount of content in them is completely unacceptable. There's no way anyone is actually workin gon the game fulltime, darkcookie included, he's definitely milking his patron subscribers. Just another dev where the more money he makes and the more people he has supposedly helping him the slower the updates come out and when they do release they have less content.

In Germany the state would definitely open its hand for that. Since he would have to register his little project as a company like a twitch streamer has to, as well. You're essentially a one man company.
But I'm pretty sure he lives in the states. I don't even know where the whole DC is from europe thing sprang from.
