Holy crap! I only just got around to playing 17.5, since a proper incest patch wasn't released until yesterday, but this update is amazing!
Why the hell were so many people disappointed when it just came out? It had me expecting the worst, but this was even better than the Roxxy update, and almost as good as the Debbie one.
Perhaps there weren't a lot of completely new scenes, but the revised ones worked so much better this time around that they actually felt like new scenes to me.
I haven't played all the way to the end yet, so I haven't even gotten to the scene that I've been eagerly awaiting the past few months, but this is already one of my favorite updates ever!

17 was a terrible update, the Roxxy scene offered a lot in terms of story and build up, let alone scenes, it greatly built upon the world.
Given that this update took over 4 months, of course it was going to be compared to the Roxxy update and it was embarrassingly shallow. The aunt should have been heavily established, instead she's just as dull as ever and how rushed the pregnancy was leaves you feeling cold. As I've said in a review I posted before, having a child should have been a life changing event, the developer put more effort into the writing of Roxxy passing an exam than he put into a childs birth, she was just left on the couch.
Now unless 17.5 has made some colossal changes and he left out a great deal of content for that, 17 has no excuse for how shit it was, at least the last hugely disappointing update was around the patreon incident, which he should see about changing, not even for the whole incest thing, it clearly looks like Patreon are moving to get rid of all adult content for financial reasons.

Well, maybe that's the difference. I couldn't give two shits about the pregnancy feature. I did it, but just in case it would trigger something good. I'm glad it didn't have any impact, and that I could get rid of it by waiting a few weeks (especially easy once you get the beach house).
I came to this game for the incest (not for inbreeding, mind you), and Diane has been my favorite character from the start (tied with Debbie). The buildup of the incest storyline is what this update did very well, in my opinion.
So, no, I don't think you'll enjoy 17.5 any more than you did 17. But I sure loved it.
