Exactly right. I personally fall into the latter camp lol. I wouldn't want to see pregnancy removed though, just expanded in terms of story consequence. I think the main problem with it currently is the lack of consequence. It's just there and then it isn't with no tangible effect on the player aside from not allowing the MC to screw the woman for the duration. Which is likely made this way due to the way this game is developed. I do have a few suggestions for reworking the system.
A rework of the minigame would do wonders. The current minigame is boring and tedious which may be adding to the frustration with the fetish's inclusion. Make it more dynamic by giving all the girls different chances at getting pregnant. Like having Diane's be a high chance or 'easy', since she's trying to get pregnant for the milk but Mrs. Johnson be low or 'hard' since she's on BC. Perhaps change the minigame to a side scrolling shooter style game, like R-Type, where you dodge different obstacles to reach the goal. It can range in difficulty based on the girl and their chance of pregnancy.
Once pregnant, give the player the option of pregnant sex or sex with the normal model to satisfy both desires of the fetish. The exact logistics of it don't matter that much. Then, instead of the woman having the kid and it disappearing, have the consequences of the pregnancy be part of the ending of the overall story. The kid(s) can have a financial and/or social effect. I mean if DC is feeling ambitious, he could write an epilogue for each characters the MC has a relationship with that changes based on pregnancy.

Yes, Erik needs a code/art rework but Debbie's and Mia's story will have to be redrawn as well, at least the sprites. Debbie's story seems to be done at most, but needs a lot of new art while Mia still needs a major story rework and new sprites etc. as well.
