well i am asking for a good reason

i am trapped in the gym at night time. it wont let me leave the yoga area because when i try to it says "you cant go to the gym at night". the quest takes place at night too so its literally unavoidable. if i can change the time to day i can leave

Mrs. Johnson quest is now bugged, after you take her place at yoga lesson in the evening you can't exit the yoga room cause the gym is closed at night... anyone got a solution?

You do realize DC draws all that by himself?

I have a suggestion. Just try to follow. Do exactly everything that was in this update but with the same quality ok?

7 Backgrounds.
8 scenes. (with animation and drawings for said animations)
Tons of text.
7 Animations (Including posing and animation drawings)
The entire coding
The entire bugfixing (was around 200)
Then add the trans option and provide sex scenes inluding animations etc for that as well.

In half the time DC and his team which are 8 people in total.

If you manage that i am sure you can do better and all your critique is totally valid and understandable. Until then and i dont mean it in a offensive way i simply assume your expectations of this update where simply not met and you are angry about that.

Understandable but unless you show us how to do all of that better then DC and his team does i cant really understand anything you say as to me it doesnt sound like valid critique but simply bashing DC and his dev team for not adding as much as you wanted to see in this update.

And since that would be a personal opinion or preference i cannot apply the same logic to it as i would on critique. I don't like most of porns but i dont bash the people making said porn that they do it bad i simply dont watch it anymore cause its bad. But it still sells so my personal preference or opinion on that would be not counted as critique but simply disliking something because it didnt meet my expectations.

And in life alot of stuff wont meet your expectations. My advice therefore is either skip this game for a year or more or simply stop playing it all together if you dislike it that much.

Drawing stuff is not the most time consuming part. Coding is. It would be A LOT easier, if content was added linear, like in most games. Add few extra scenes, few lines of dialogues and you are done. You can play with old saves, and release new content each month. But changing one thing in existing content is most likely rewriting half of the code in that part, then making sure everyting works. And with content that huge, we have to be prepared to even longer update time in the future.

You can play with old saves, and release new content each month. But changing one thing in existing content is most likely rewriting half of the code in that part, then making sure everyting works. And with content that huge, we have to be prepared to even longer update time in the future.

While that is true i higly doubt anyone in the dev team was a Professional software dev before joining the team.
They would cost way to much money and in reality 50k is not enough to pay a prof software dev.

And lets say DC manages to get his hands on one and manages to afford him. Most of the time he finishes the art for an update 1 or 2 weeks before the actual release.

As things are now you can't make it faster by coding faster or better as DC could not draw fast enough. What DC needs is a 2 Art guy and then a way to code and bugfix faster. But that cost alot of money.

I know you can ignore some routes, but it's still a mess to know what you have to do and where the new content is.

People always tend to forget how heavy the backend of the game got optimized. The release version of 0.14.3 (the 2017 halloween update) for example was 943MB while the current game is below 900. That means they've basically doubled the playable content and the quality of the art yet the game remains smaller than it was 2 years ago. The average player may not care that much about all those things but they do matter a lot for those who play on android.

I'm not sure, her story feels quite a bit more authentic with her trap story in mind, even stuff like the dress as "surprise" or her beeing on good terms with Kevin make that little bit more sense. But maybe that's just me.

When it comes to the fact that's easy to miss, I'd say it's clearly on purpose. DC/Sploosh know their base and that some really won't be able to deal with a surprise dick on their girl or even in general. I mean, that's likely why we've got that choice in the first place. As it stands now she's got a double lock and those who really can't deal with that kind of content and chose that they'd never be with a man, won't even know there's a choice. That was clearly intended to not upset those players.

for me it feels more authentic if she is a girl i think she would react to kevin differntly if she was intented to be a trap , she is more of a loner cause she is that unusal type of girl that likes freaky stuff and plays video games, also if she was intended to be a trap id expect her to see more clear interactions with the other girls

i said it earlier and will again since roxxy update the routes dont interfere with one another you can play them as if you did all the other stuff there will be no difference

A VN is literally what the game is supposed to be? It's in the first sentence of his patreon page since day one, which says: Summertime Saga is a high quality Dating Sim/Visual Novel game in development!

You don't have to agree with it, but don't pretend you didn't know.

for those looking for a cheat mod, here is that file, I didn't make it but as far as I can see I can't find the original file download. just put it into the game folder and it's done, it will work for future versions as well, well at least for now, when the game is out of development I don't know, but for now while you still have the option to play with the ingame cheats enabled it'll work, after they remove that I don't know. once you've put it in click on your phone then click on the wifi signal to access the cheat menu.

Okay, first off:
Eve is a precious little flower that I must pledge to protect. Seriously, adorable.

Secondly: I've done the hj, 69, vag & anal scenes with Eve, and I have done the motorbike scene with the goth chick, and the massage riding with goth chick and sister.

And then it sort of... just ends? I'm honestly confused. The sister makes a big deal out of how it's breaking the relationship, and goth chick admits to being into Eve and hints at threesome and so on... but nothing triggers? There are no more hints on the phone either. Is that a trap-only thing?

It just feels so anticlimactic.
