That could have been better worded, as soon as the bugs/issues are added the track bar will have to take a step backwards instead of forwards.

Only applied if the developer makes it known that the development is on hold. Also, if it had been requested last month or earlier, then the abandoned tag could have been applied sooner than it would, currently. On Hold moves to abandoned after 6 months of no update. However, if it were requested between now and 30 April 2024 it would actually extend the time for waiting until applying the abandoned tag.
Again, neither tag does anything to change what is actually occurring with the development. DC will still do what DC do. What F95 do doesn't change what DC do. Also, people will still download and play the game. People who want to, will still subscribe. People have been subscribing for the past year without any update, already. People will still come in here and complain. People will still come in here and wax nostalgic. People will still come in here and troll. Hell, it would probably bring out more trolls in the coming short term (as we have seen by example with comments about the dev team reconfiguring the progress chart).

So with the dust apparently settled here's where it stands compare to this post here for per split/ properly weighted task or whatever they want to call it.
All stuff DC has worked on on stream and so these are most likely just touch ups.
These are the new intro cutscenes DC was working on shouldn't take to long. No clue about the Tbds most likely reserved incase they add anything else.
I'm not 100% sure but based on the new task being both the new intro cutscenes and buttons from posing task already present my best guess is these are all that was left of the routes which is why only they were split off. Instead of fully breaking down the larger repose <Names> route task, this tracks with Toxic saying they have a lot of stuff at 90+% but have to wait on DC and Stray to do code and art fixes before closing them out.
For code they added the cutscenes and buttons for the new locations and I again have to say Stray's really going to town on the mini games he's been clearing one almost every 2-3 days.
Edit: I went back and looked Stray's cleared 12 mini games in a month I know that doesn't sound like a lot but there are over 30 of the fuckers and the sooner they're done the better.

They've just split huge tasks into smaller one, so the progress bar moves faster and better represents the actual speed of developement.It's regressed back to 72% now, guess there's some major rework being done
Also take into account that a lot of potential employers will be less than happy to hire someone who worked on a porn game in the past.
Although I work for a casual game dev and I had a colleague who worked on some adult stuff in the past and she was hired no problem. And of course half of our 2D artists are drawing furry porn as a side hustle, lol

Cheers, mate. For clarification, do we know what "Dynamic Shot" and "Buttons" are referring to? My guess is that Dynamic Shot refers to a sex scene and Buttons are the clickable character portraits in a background. Both of those seem like fairly easy tasks to finish, at least from a posing standpoint.

The dynamic shots are the cutscenes think the intro at the funeral or meeting Nadya and you're spot on for the buttons.

Several people have signaled the need for a new INLIMBO state to be added to COMPLETED, ABANDONED & ONHOLD. SS is the poster child for this state but there were other famous projects that would've qualified (e.g. Milfy City).
DC sold the Tech Update as something that will take (quote is him on 03-Dec-2020): "(3 to 4 months) to complete".

Today we're a staggering 2 years, 4 months and 26 days past 01-Jul-2021 and not only was the Tech Update not delivered but DC doesn't even have a release date for this vaporware.
Since 2+ years is not enough, how many more years does this guy need to fail before his project is flagged as problematic on F95?
We need that INLIMBO tag and it needs to be slapped on projects that fail to deliver on quantifiable promises by, let's be generous and say, over 100%. So SS should've been flagged as INLIMBO sometime around 01-Oct-2021. And INLIMBO needs to stick until promises are either delivered on, explicitly replaced with something else that's quantifiable or, more often than not, the project becomes ABANDONED. Making INLIMBO sticky is important to mitigate devs who try to game F95's rules (e.g. ICSTOR simulated activity on Patreon until his project was eventually slapped with ABANDONED and DC does his own Weekend at Bernie's on Patreon, Picarto and pushing out side releases that have nothing to do with OG promises).
In case anyone is waiting for it, I assure you these people will NEVER just stand up and say "I'm incompetent" or "I'm a scammer" and that NEVER turns into NEVER EVER when there are literal millions of $ to be gained from just putting on a busy show.

Also, the games forum is not the forum to recommend or suggest new tags. That's what Features Request is for.

TL;DR - It's gonna be a long time before that happens.
After a solid 10 minutes of catching up on this thread I'm rather confused. Why do people still care about this game so much ? There are similar if not better games out there that could use the support.

Hey guys I didn't check the discord and I didn't read any comments in this thread and I didn't check the devs website and I haven't looked at the patreon and I haven't asked anyone I know about it and I can't find any information about when the next update is coming can anyone help me?!
Personally I love this game. And I like eve and grace the most. I'm not taking anyone's side, but I am kinda disappointed that there hasn't been any kind of content or bug update in over a year. Personally I need more eve and grace updates lol
