This game was literally my first porn game ever. I'm still grateful that it introduced me to all this other great stuff, but I gave up and moved on ages ago. The tag brought me back and holy shit, it's still stuck on the same update I last played lol. It seems hard to believe.

If it was up to me I'd not remove the abbandoned tag until DC has proven to be consistent and timely with his updates. Just look at Dr. Bones and his games, the man has been milking people by only providing a single update to his games every year for the last couple of years now.
But I am not an admin and rules are rules.

Jenny and Debbie are already confirmed to be released together for the first update, and DC never said every update would only contain one character route. I'm not saying you don't have a point, just some corrections.
Like you said, even being generous and lumping together multiple characters per update would still take a long time at that pace. I'm hoping that because they're already 83% done with the tech-update, it'll make the updates only a matter of getting character routes playable since they're overhauled anyways, so that we get much more characters per update later on so that it takes less than two years.
Only time will tell.

Theres just no way they can keep up the two months release pace forever,i would be surprised if by the end of the year we are not waiting months and months for a new release.

Dark Cookie is an amazing artist.
I really like watching his Picarto streams, but i also think he's a very stubborn dude.
If he really has a team (which i highy doubt at this point) that helps him developing this VN, then he should have changed them by now, the team is very slow doing everything except the art.
I also think he should have hired someone to help him animate the scenes. I mean...there is a someone who is doing different animations using this game assets for some time.

You might be right, I don't have much trust in their competence at this point.
He's stubborn and lazy, but he does have a team, they're pretty active in his Discord and streams. Whether they're a good fit for this project is another story.
Nah, I think the most we'll get is ambient background noises and some music, which is fine by me.

Will the (old) download with more content remain, or will the new SS get its own thread?
In my understanding of fairness, the tag should only be removed when it becomes obvious that it has really been worked on, i.e. with the 2nd tech update at the earliest.
Otherwise, it would mean that it is enough to remove content to remove the abandoned tag - that would be ridiculous.
