Basically yeah, but new art and slightly new scenes but not a lot so, the new version don't deserve to be played for now. You can if you want but, yeah... nothing much to do with it, sadly.

Man, total mismanagement. I am absolutely no "You patreon scammer" but this group easily makes 70 - 80K bucks a month. There is no engine change, if you want to clean up your code, do both versions simultaneously. Makes no sense to kill the old version and deliver a, I don't know what to call it.

We need a new tag for games that are abandoned/just milking the paypigs because this shit is so disgusting. There are so many games that have pitifully small updates that take up 6-12 months to year to put out. Games like spooky milk life, summertime saga, and heroes harem guild just should have a tag that say "paypigs only" so people dont play the game and then support them without knowing how lazy and greedy they are

It's crazy isn't it? For how much money and support he has he should have finished this game, and started and completed his second one, years ago and be working on his 3rd. Instead we're here. Yeah, you're right for that. Basically, I personally don't count same scenes framed differently as new scenes, but that's me.

I didn't play yesterday update because I will wait for a little more content before playing because right now, the remade is "meh" for me. Still waiting to see what more in store and can't wait to motorboat our fav big tiddy goth too.

Let me help you out.

Since starting on Debbie's rework, progress frozen.

That's not a chart for the end of January release. That's a chart for the work determined needed to complete the entire tech update.

Art has been at 98-99% for more than 2 years of the tech update development. It's been waiting on everything else.

Remember, that's based upon the tech update task list --- which Debbie's rework was not originally going to be part of the tech update. But partially because everything else is taking along time, as well as other reasons, DC decided to take this time to do Debbie's rework -- but that's not reflected in the data used to calculate the chart.

Someone has tracked all the points over the years and posted graphs in the past. Also, if you're really curious, you could always use the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine to look at the history of that page

TL;DR: Because Debbie's rework was never to be part of the tech update - none of the actual progress on the tech update has been done while working on Debbie's rework. The progress chart won't change until after Debbie's rework is done and they go back to work on the tasks for the tech update.

UnRened both versions. WIP and the last old build. Main difference is, that they changed the folder structure and use more layered build images. There is almost no difference. When they want to add new stuff, do so. Most of the background images and probably the full cast is already in their "wip version art.rpa" and the "old versions images.rpa". Both similar in size and some images i checked, i can't see any differences.
