I got sick of looking for these and never finding a simple, no-nonsense version so I just made them instead. The Universal gallery unlocker crashes for me, so these are handmade based on the game's code instead.

Install:

• Just save the appropriate script into the game/ subfolder and start the game.

Classic Version <= v0.20.16:

• zz_Unlock_CookieJar_Classic.rpy

New Tech:

• zz_Unlock_CookieJar_New.rpy

DC includes a Cookie Jar unlocker by default in (nearly) all versions of Summertime Saga.

Wassent a "update" supposed to contain NEW parts not remove half of the previous version? WTF. We wait months for the story to continue not for it to be butchered and re released over 12 months only to get back where we were before. Just give back V 20 in working order, this "new" V21 one is trashed, 5% new material with 50% old missing, not worth the wait. CANSEL the "teck update" till it is COMPLETE with ALL old material IN it or don´t do it at all.
Just another patreon milker abusing the supporters. Stop giving till we get back what was taken, don´t pay more to get less!

It is apparently from community pressure who wanted to see "what DC was doing" that they kept saying just release something... that DC decided after a year of simply monthly reports that they would release what they had to that point of the tech update and release a new preview about every two months until the tech update was completed.

So it was the supporters, the fans, the community who wanted to see what was going on that was a part of the motivation to release the preview of the tech update.

Stop giving till we get back what was taken, don´t pay more to get less!

Request a refund... oh wait.

You have had this problem for over 8 days. If you have not been able to fix it using the suggestions below:

I have a problem, even though I use the password jenny, badmonster. when clicking or pressing enter. the screen just flashes and doesn't open. any idea to solve. I don't know, maybe some file is damaged. I would appreciate it if you could help. thanks.

If you have any patches or mods running in the game, remove them and try again. If, after trying with only the base game and you still can't get it to work, then yes you probably have a file issue.

Make sure you're doing everything at the right time with the right stats (you don't say which version you are playing or if you are playing cheat/preview mode or regular mode).

If you still have problems, you may have to load a previous save and try again. Also, consider asking people in the walkthrough thread that is linked in OP.

Then you have a bad file. I recommend deleting all saves in the \save folder and in the %appdata%\RenPy Summertime Saga folder.

Once you have done that, start new from the beginning. Do not use any mods/cheats/whatever - you can start with cheat mode, but don't use any more cheats beyond that. I have a feeling you have tried to do something you weren't supposed to in a cheat console and instead of trying to reverse engineer what you did - it's just best to start fresh and not fuck with anything.

It is literally even fewer steps to do it this way, and isn't nested behind a non-OP FAQ answer. Cross-site, hundreds of Renpy games this is what people are looking for, and even invokes the same mechanism. Worse user experience is actually doing it incorrectly.

Patreons deserve refunds, this V21 is not really the same game anymore. A completed V20.x with all "wip´s" completed is what I was referring to. Retroactive changes that break saves is almost always the first step to a failed/dying game.

Fun fact, Judith's only H scene was released closer in time to the original release of Skyrim than to the present day.

Not directly but at the stated schedule of 2 (ish) months per update (figuring the amount that's re-introduced each up date), it's going to take years to get back to the same point.
