I seem to recall the art was done a long time ago but then at some point the bar went back down? I think somebody said it was because as they were doing some of the rigging they realized stuff was not at the level where it needed to be and so they had to redo stuff?

Pretty close. They realized that a large part of the art was borked/missing/poorly tagged due to DC being shit at organization, so they had to spend an ungodly amount of time re-exporting and fixing it. I believe the current remaining art tasks are slightly more mundane, like missing shadows and other tiny errors, and they keep finding new ones as the posing crew works through the backlog.
God only knows why it should take this long, though. We had this information months ago, and there's only so many art assets in the game. At some point one has to wonder why DC is jerking around with wallpapers and new location backgrounds that we won't see for years when there's remaining art tasks on the docket.

No they are only stalling time, this must be one of the biggest milking projects of Patreon.

Yeah, cuz that has worked... never. Magically, people keep bringing this up as a good idea in various game threads - but can't show a single believable instance where this has actually worked.
any ETA on when we can get the stepmom pregnant? we can already have sex with her for some time now, and considering that the problem with the russians that were harrassing her and the MC has been dealt with, why not let us put a bun in her oven? unless DarkCookie has something else in store to justify the reason as to why she can't get preggers, it is high time we can do that

If you don't know of any example, I don't know why you're so feisty. It's an idea, one of which seems a bit far fetched to achieve I'll give you that much, but since people are 'lil piggies without any galls to do anything this idea is just that, an idea.

It's not that I'm feisty. And you're the one who brought up the idea - so you should be the one bringing an example to the table to show of its feasibility. Also, it's been brought up hundreds of times in as many game threads on here, including this one. Never once has a successful story come from it.
Thinking through it logically, it also makes no sense - If someone can't pay the bills doing something, they aren't going to continue doing that thing - or if they are, it will be with much less effort and time involved because they'll need a different job to pay the bills. Leeching rarely (if ever) worked in medicine and it doesn't work in economics or the labor market. Do employees work better on less pay? Nope. Do kids get better education when school funding is pulled? Nope. Do construction projects get done quicker when contracts are cut? Nope.
No timeline. Eventually. Could (most likely will be) be years. You can find a mod in OP which will do it for you in the mean time.
