My grandpa use to talk about that game, he said : Boy, when i was a young lad, i use to fap on summertime saga, but i thought he was bullshitting me, now i'm not so sure.

P.S. Maybe i'll say the same thing to my grand son in the future.

This game has been in production since I used to tie onions to my belt, which was the style at the time, and play Summertime Saga on my slate tablet. Stick figures with boobs, that's all it was back then, and it was good enough for us. And dirty games only cost a nickel, which had titties on 'em. Give me five boobies for a quarter, we used to say...

As neat as it is for the "3d" dining room scene in the game, I find it hilarious that they're just facing a wall. No furniture or anything. He didn't want to draw a dinner mat on the table or a storage cabinet. I'd say the only story he'd finish for this year is just debbie and dianne and nothing else which is so sad that it becomes funny again. I also noticed that the minigames and stats feature are still there as if that means anything.

Yep, the unfortunate reality is that no matter what, people are going to spend their money on whatever they want whether it is against their best interest or not. The only reason why milking works is because you have enough stupid people to support and encourage it. And as evidenced in this world, having alot of money does not mean that you are smart. There are alot of stupid people who have alot of money. So, unless this suddenly changes, this game and others who milk will continue to do so, and honestly, I can't blame them. Look at how much money they have made by doing the bare minimum. I don't like it at all, I hate that you can become rich by barely doing anything at all in this world, but it is the unfortunate truth.

I wasn't going to say anything because this game is getting dogpiled enough... but bro, holy shit.

After playing this "new version" for myself, I am actually fucking baffled. The only reason I even tried it was so I could see the new scenes for the debbie route, and after doing all there is to do, I'm actually speechless. The literal ONLY scene I think was worthwhile was the kiss in the dressing room, and even then, it's just fluff that would've paired well with the old content.

That's all these new scenes are. Fluff. Who in their right fucking mind cuts what's essentially a completed path down into nothing, then remakes it, replacing it all with fluff? Ignoring all the patreon stuff, ignoring the tech update that'll never finish, ignoring everything else, this dev is simply brain dead off of that decision alone.

I mean seriously, when I realized they replaced Debbie's car blowjob scene with a kissing scene, I was done. Summertime Saga is literally a game where you have a dozen routes being pursed at once, who in their right mind decided to make one of the first main routes SLOWBURN? I literally ignored every other piece of content, focusing only on her route, and I still somehow found all my time wasted with a whole lot of nothing.

At this point, we might as well consider the previous version the completed game. Most of the routes were done, the main story was explored, let's just leave this game out of 2025 and beyond. It does not deserve our time.

What I find most astonishing is how little difference is showing up for the amount of time, resources etc. Personally I think the game as it was only lacked good sex scene sounds (I think I may be in the minority here but I think many still think like myself and they wouldn't be hard to add and maybe just add a toggle for off for those who don't like that). Are you sure you played the old version completely? There is not even a scene where Debbie has oral sex with MC after the car is repaired. Since Debbie sees MC as family, the most she can do is kiss for that scene (it used to be the same). It is very good that the game is slowburn for Debbie. The story getting longer, the scenes increasing, the corruption gradually increasing are the basis of this game. Are you expecting sex after 2 conversations? This is not that kind of game. I think most of the scenes in Debbie's story will be finished after at least 2 updates.

It will never be finished, when this round of "tech update" is at par with the pre-tech update, then developer will feel the need to do yet another "tech update"/graphics update whatever, and the cycle repeats - so if you want to experience the game, play the old version, which has a lot of content

Amen - lots of developer does this unfortunately, almost finishes a game or a great progress of a game, and then decides that its not good enough and restarts with "new tech"
