I don't know much about coding, but i know enough to know that some things that may seem like an insignificant bug that should be easily fixed can be a lot more complex that what it looks like on the surface.

Also, there is no indication that Strayerror won't mass add all the stuff that's ready to roll once the Debbie story is finished, to be fair there is no indication that it will be mass added. Plus, to my understanding, the Debbie story is the most popular/wanted story line. I know that I really want to see the end of Debbie and play through all her content.

I remember such a thing, once there was also a game development team, only take sponsorship and do not release game updates, and then a hacker in the group of players decided to crack the game code and make their own, and when the game production team found out about it immediately, they immediately released an official small update, and the hacker saw that the game was restored and updated and chose to support the official. The result is that the game production team finds that there is no threat, continues to eat money without work, and then the game is completely no one cares, neither the production team nor the players.

This game was great a couple of years ago when I last played. Was the technical aspect really bad enough to warrant the tech update? I don't remember experiencing anything that hindered gameplay. Personally, I would have finished the game as it was and just carried my newfound technical experience in to my next project. Unless there were big enough walls later in development that I never experienced?

Other than getting paid massive amounts of money (which would surely not go away with the start of a new game), what is the justification of taking the remake route over just starting a new project?

From what MisterMeh has told me in a couple of replies regarding the history of the development, it does seem like there may have been cause for the tech update. It seems like their first coder made an absolute mess of the code that really screwed them over later in the development process that led them to the decision of redoing the game and the subsequent tech update.

I've only been following the game for 2 months now so I don't really have much skin in the game, but I can see why long standing fans like yourself would be upset by the setbacks and delays.

Why use this patch? ​
Much more comprehensive list of changes to dialogue. I checked almost every line of dialogue and made sure it flowed correctly. This is not just a simple name change for the characters, but whole blocks of lines are back to their 14.5 version of the game (the last version that has incest). New dialogue written for this tech update also were taken into consideration since DarkCookie is adding new story beats. I'll try to make the dialogue conform to their familial relationship as much as possible. I also modified the art asset to fit the new widescreen resolution of the game, and will continue doing so as needed.


What about other incest patches out there?

is not compatible with my patch. It hasn't been updated in a while and all the changes that patch offers is also included in my patch.

Relation Tweaker Mod is not compatible with my patch. However, I recommend using this one instead if you want to customize the relationship between characters. This patch allows step relations or mixed step/incest relations. It works with the new tech update only.

Relation Tweaker Lewd+ is standalone and should work with any incest patch/mod. It works with the new tech update only.

So if I have the Naughty Tribute mod installed, the patch won’t work then?

I haven't tested that mod, but it should work except for one scene involving Diane (afaik). If you run into an error there, you can safely disable either of the two mods, play through the scene, and then re-enable the mod.

I haven't looked into a fix yet, but I'm planning to if my skills allow it.

"" so there was no 00console.rpy ,only .rpyc were there in renpy so i just used online decompiler got the rpy with console = true and then delete the rpyc file and paste this and then run the game but in game when i console i am getting errors, Pls help me

v0.20.16 has cheat mode in the main menu. And in any mode - has ability to change stats and money, as well as unlock the cookie jar cg gallery, using the wifi symbol of the in-game cell phone... Has for nearly the entire life cycle of development since 2016.

v21.0.0-wip.4468 and later, the only mode is cheat mode (called PREVIEW mode) that starts Anon with full stats and $10,000,000. Added back in for wip.5003 and later - Using the wifi symbol of the in-game cell phone also unlocks the cookie jar CG gallery.

So none of the above you posted is necessary. Not needed. Superfluous. Redundant.

I noticed when I started a new Game with just your Patch, one of the first scenes with Debbie she mentioned to Anon that “her sister Aunt Diane could use help with her garden”. If I have the Naughty Tribute mod installed with your Patch, It might just revert to the dialogue in the Tribute mod, because the same scene Debbie says “my friend, Aunt Diane, could use help with her garden” when both are installed.

Would love to use your patch with all the details you’ve done with making the incest lines flow smoothly and have Naughty Tribute for the extra mechanics.

Ah, I didn't know that it also reverted back dialogue. I just assumed it was just an error since that's what I've read. Thanks for the report. I'll look into it.
