And if you actually have any interest in the thread other than instant gratification you would be reading a few pages when you log in...as it would have taken you/him less time to read a few pages than ask a repeated question. I guess you need others to move your hand along with the game play - but you continue to do you...as it has been said MANY times...'not yet' - hey look even by me (along with a lot of others).

It's not so hard to believe imo.

DarkCookie started the game out as a test to try out coding in RenPy, and he played around with it until he started getting actual money coming in.

Then he hired a coder that AFAIK, was before Dogeek. At that point, I'm sure that everything was fine and DC never needed to look into it, because that was the reason for hiring someone who actually knew what they were doing.

That coder ended up leaving for some reason or another, iirc... they started working on more serious gaming stuff, or something along those lines and then Dogeek was hired. Remember at this point, the game is significantly smaller, there's no tech update and everything is running well enough that no one needs to look into the coding, because it's working.

In comes Strayerror, who if I'm recalling what DC has said, overlapped Dogeek for a short period of time and started talking about the lazy labelling that Dogeek was doing. DC then talked to Dogeek about the sloppy filing etc, and whatever else was said, he let Dogeek go. He never disparaged Dogeek in any mean spirited way, but has made multiple mentions of the sloppy way he was handling things. Remember, the game was still working, but they realized they needed to fix things to expand the aspect ratio, the story etc.

Now Strayerror is on his own rebuilding the game and for anyone who pulls apart the files and looks into them, they will see that the way the game is currently compiled, is completely different from the older versions.

That's pretty much everything I remember.

I just saw a comment about Darkcookie making you choose between crystal and Roxanne if that's the case what a dumb idea! Nobody wants to replay a point and click game with shitty mini games to interact with another character, People just want to jack off and go to the next character you know the whole reason anyone plays this. Plus who is genuinely gonna pick crysal over roxanne when the whole plot line revolves around Roxanne? God i Just hate arbitrary Choices to have stupid "options" that are only there prolong game length just let me get all the characters. Plus, I'm just going to choose Roxanne over crystal anyways, just like I always choose Mia over Helen because who the hell likes Helen? Just like I choose Erics landlady over that fat gamer chick because she is a nothing character. and you know he is gonna do this with grace and Odette and you gonna have to choose between them creating more uncessary padding and just continue to expand and add this horrible split decison mechanic to more scenario's.

yeah i mean why would the project lead have to take a look at the code during all those years at least once to see it's all shit? it's not like DC is responsible for the whole project or anything, you know just let dogeek do his thing until someday he suddenly finds out it's all been spaghetti code. woops. :HideThePain:

Your arguments are completely pointless since Roxy's content will be restored in 2075 and we will all be dead by then.

BTW, Helen's scenes are 1000 better than Mia's. So, Helen it is.

Did you bother to read the changelog (or anything) before you downloaded v21.0.0-wip.5605? Or look at the main menu splash screen? Or go to the developer's website

Doing any of the 4 would have told you that v21.0.0-wip.5605 hasn't had all the old content migrated over yet, and that it is a preview (like, as in "Preview Mode" that you selected when you started up a new game).

Dev has no plans on ending development of this game. Hasn't had any plans to do so for over 8 years. Will just keep tweaking, adding, adjusting, revising for years to come.
