I remember playing for the first time in 2021, I was extremely anxious to see this game complete, 1 year later seeing practically 0 progress I already discovered that the dev just wanted to eat money, the question is why does he still receive so much without delivering anything? No saves from v0.20.16 work for v21.0.0-wip.#### because of new code, new variables..... and not all the content from v0.20.16 is even migrated to v21.0.0-wip.#### yet.

And likely will never be "done" because the developer doesn't want to finish it (as said since at least 2017).

Is this one of his alts? because if there's one thing a shill will not do for a game that only now exists to exploit the subscription model, it's tell it like it is.

I've said before that posters should continue to shit on this game, as it remains shit and not let the shills manipulating you into going away in the hopes of them getting some ignorant suckers on the subscription hook. That is me telling it how it is, support games that put the work in, because you don't see Count Morado defending those games, when you make something people enjoy, you don't need shills to defend you.

I also don't defend this game. I simply state what is known already - but when people have too much blood going to their penis that it deprives their brain of necessary oxygen, it seems they need reminded. But hey, you do you boo.

Depends upon what you want.

Do you want to play (nearly) everything already in the game?
If yes, play v0.20.16 - but know that you will have to play it all over again once v21.0.0 is completed sometime (next year?) because saves from v0.20.16 and prior are not compatible with v21.0.0 because of the rewritten code and variables. New content is scheduled once v21.0.0 is completed.

Do you want to play in the updated, more optimized code with some updated character artwork, and with 16:9 display ratio (plus other fine tuning)?
If yes, play v21.0.0-wip.#### - but know that you will only have limited content at this time and only playing remaining content as it is released in chunks about every other month if the developer stays on their schedule - until it catches up.
