As someone who is neither a code nerd or on this game's development roadmap like white on rice: I'm just assuming that the devs are upgrading the game from 32-bit to 64-bit because what they have planned needs more 1's and 0's. 'v21.0.0 wip.5258' is them recreating what 'v0.20.16' has in terms of content, so 'v0.20.16' is basically the most up-to-date and stable version.

The danger of starving or having to work another job on the side hasn't stopped the likes of Type Moon in the past either back when they sold their games on Comiket. Show me a western dev who just makes a game and sells it, no donations, no updates upon updates. Just make a finished project from start to finish.

I mean, that mentality has infected more than just the western porn game industry. Seemingly every game dev has gone down the rabbit hole of "live service" in the last few years, since finding your own little pod of whales is a far more reliable source of regular income than trying to release a banger game every 18 months.

Plus, the very existence of forums like these are anathema to just making and releasing a game since the vast majority of this community pirates all their smut. Only the absolute smash hits draw any real cash in the adult space, and convincing 1,000 dudes who won't miss $5 a month to donate in perpetuity is way easier than trying to convince 10,000 people to shell out $20 on Steam for your HS2 magnum opus.

So after patreons cut he's making 608-665k+ a year. Including him there are supposedly 10 team members who knows how much he is paying them and how much they actually work on the game,

The number on patreon is pretty much how much they make (for the creators that show).
As for the team, the majority are part time and global meaning no benefits paid. The US dollar is pretty strong too so conversion is to DC's benefit.

Yes, but that is not the point of this concern. The self righteousness of the dev is skyrocket high at this point. Take a look at this changelog. According to 5252 changelog, it says the current content is updated with new stuff and YET there is on-going "preperation for a reboot", but "past versions content removed" is not underlined, therefore the dev is straight up scamming people. The "wrote save migration to fully reset Debbie storyline" does not translate to "this new version completely resets Debbie storyline". Either my reading comprehension is poor or the dev doesn't know how to properly write changelogs... Anyone being unaware of these new updates would assume that they continue the content for 5091 version, which they don't, hence we receiving the scammer vibes... Anyways, I'm sticking to the 5091 version until the dev finalizes Debbie story or the upcoming content surpasses the past versions content. I don't care how much story content is being stretched, if there is no sex scenes, only blueballs then I ain't interested one bit.

I was already playing this game for Debbie and Jenny. An update for Debbie was definitely needed. It will take a long time to see it completely finished. I hope the whole story gets updated.

feds dont chase taxes these days they are more busy selling weapons abroad country and smuggling migrants in the country preferably with different religion and culture than original citizens so it would lead to internal conflicts
