Naw. It's just that I comprehend their role in our ability to have adult games in development.

Hell I haven't even played an adult game for a couple of months and I only follow a handful. There are people here who play adult games several hours per day and follow well over 100. If there are no subscribers, then there are much fewer games for the coomers and gooners.

following and games that get continous updates are two different things. I know 4 games out of the wincest area that get updates right now... AWAM, summertimesaga, straitened times, and symphony of the serpent.

any other game is either abandoned, finished, or the developer is a one man show releasing some 0.0001 version every 4 months excusing himself that he doesnt do much and he sorry to his subscribers.

There might be other games without the wincest, those exist, dont interest me though.

So what i am saying, there are literally only 4 games right now worth mentioning of having a decent development structure, while also a subscriber base that one could say they are living off that income.

With that said, it's quite a joke when developers, or lets keep the topic at Summertime saga, it's a joke when DC has a decent income, has a team of people working on this game, promises update goals, not even what we expect, what he promises, and not slightly misses that goal, he flat out underperforms that one might actually sit here and ask him, WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THE PAST HALF A YEAR?

one might argue that the game is for free and no one has to give him money, but wherever i go, here, reddit, doesnt matter, no one is happy with this development, except the lone 20 circle jerking in his discord and stream, glazing the guy on a daily basis.

The subscribers are his boss. they expect a product. and i honestly believe most subscribers forgot they even pay this guy on a monthly basis. Imagine paying 1$ or 5$ a month, A FUCKING MONTH, for a game that hasnt changed since 2022. literally. Dont come at me with the tech update. Thats like paying 5$ a month for Starcraft 2, while in comparison, sc2 has much more to offer as a game, than STS will ever do because lets face it, once you played through it, it's over.

They are not his boss. Patreon is very clear the role of subscribers - they are fans who like what a creator is doing and like their vision. As such they are welcome to support the creator in their endeavors through subscriptions. In return for their subscriptions, creators may offer benefits such as discord access and roles, private stream access and/or other offers. some creators include their game as a benefit. Dark cookie doesn not and never has. DC makes the game available for free for anytime to download.

Doesn't look it. It all depends on how impacted these people are by their payments. But hey, maybe Trump's tariffs are gonna make people consider blowing money on less necessary services, if day to day shit that actually gets imported will see a pretty huge price hike.

Love how the garden minigame has been added but being paid for it, which happened to be the whole point in anyone bothering to do it, is still not there. Oh it shows you earned X amount for the task but it never credits that amount to your money at all. If that is broken then why waste my time wit the rest of the crap update at all. I will check back again in 8 years. Maybe by then he will have most of the First part of the story actually added in. This game now is the worst one out there. Its on a lower bar than the Bad Bobby games.

Actually, you can get paid, although, at this point you don't need the money, unless you want numerous GFEs with Jenny.
So, after you clean the garden, you can click on Diane and ask her for your accumulated wages and she will pay you.

Na, it is when the Patch drops. Usually the Patch in Lust Epidemic and Treasure of Nadia was updated nearly every Update but since Genesis Order, the Patch Makers just wait a couple of updates or until the game is completed to drop the Incest Patch.
NLT himself relies on Patreon and Incest is not allowed there.

it would be great if AI finally gets to the point that we can just upload the game and add and influence it ourselves. I was told in movies that once AI gets connected to the internet it becomes Jarvis in the matter of seconds. it's been years and still it only produces the most mundane pictures.

Its laughably easy to replicate the art style in this game using Ai. That mixed with controlnet for different poses the game could be finished in no time. But obviously for years now the point hasn't been to finish the game or even to make progress but to find never ending ways to keep it going so the money doesn't stop. I don't care, the game has been all but finished for years now. People want to give their money away they can.

Here in Germany, most of the german Voice Actors hate Ai Voices.
They just sign in contracts when the Contract says that their Voice will not be used to train Ai to match them or any Ai usage when it comes to Dubs.
Sadly, there were some Company that already use Ai Voices but they don't sell much since we Germans also boycott such products. But I don't know how long that will last.
Our Voice Actors also make some Videos reminding People how bad Ai Voices are.

AI does not have emotions and that alone is what makes things like acting, art etc a terrible thing to use AI to replicate. It can be used to help with some things so long as AI just assist in the work being done, not being the end all and be all. It's a tool, not a voice actor, artist, developer etc. a tool.

Brother , If you remember will smith eating noodles video and how terrible it was then just after 2.5 years Kilng and other AI video generation sites broke the internet by hyper realistic video gen , AI growth is Exponential not linear . To this date you can generate better art/animation than 99% of human work with right prompt by using it as a "TOOL", there will be a time when AI soon surpass any human work by miles with simple prompts
you can use AI for acting stuff with emotion if used correct prompt (paragraphs of prompts tbh ) cause simple prompts don't give the needed instruction to AI to Act . Soon it will be Actor , Artist , Dev and post content for humans in every field
