Developer has a lot of ideas for the game.
Fans want improvements for the game.
Fans who play this on Android devices - the Developer's largest share of players - wants better experience on Android devices.
Fans want more content for the game.
Fans willing to subscribe to support Developer's continued efforts to create while offering the game for free to everyone who wants it, no registration or subscription required.

Developer loves what he's doing.
Developer making great money doing what he loves.

If I was in the Developer's position listed above, I'd keep doin' what I'm doin' - damn the critics.

And so would you.
So would most anyone in the Developer's shoes.

Oh I'd definitely try to get as much mileage as possible out of patreon. Money doesn't grow on trees, so I'd be stupid not to.

It's why I scoff so much at all these wannabe moralizers on here. As if they wouldn't do it as well. I doubt anyone on here is willing to figuratively starve just to sit on a high horse.

i doesn't says what it is but it shows the screen that tell you that windows protected you. I am bad with computer but if you say that it should be safe

Sorry I've been out of touch for a long time, has it caught up or exceeded the amount of content of the previous version before this remake/engine upgrade phase?

The 6th update is here!

As we mentioned previously, not all of the Tech Update content is available yet, but we are releasing new content every 2 months.

This cycle we have been focusing on upgrading Debbie's content, and we're now in a position to share with you the first 20 quests.

Following this release, we are now working on the remaining last part of her content which will include her last animated scenes and will be released in the next update (in 2 months).

In the meantime we hope that her story showcases the level of quality we intend to keep throughout the rest of her content.

bro they just make money by waiting it you are star working you know this job need only more 3 or 4day to make it complete and all the time need to make new update real work is faster but they need earn money.
note the more money they earn they will not complete the game forever. and ( it true anyway) and i pass age 34 this year work as IT software. i aslo can't wait like when i was young like 8 to 10 years ago.

For anyone who may ask "where update?"...

Last update was the end of March.
Next update is scheduled for the end of May.

They don't have plans on completing Summertime Saga anytime in the near future. Developer would like to add another 100-200 characters to the story. It's going to be many years.

Also, 34 and you can't wait like you did when you were in your 20s? I got some bad news to tell you... The older you get, the more you gotta wait for things in life. Except death. That is coming sooner than you might expect.

Well, there's already about 100 characters in the story... And during the almost 9 years that DC has been on Patreon, almost all of those 100 were added in the first 5 years (45 have at least 1 cookie jar scene in v0.20.16). So, it doesn't take as long as you think. But, yeah, don't expect anything marked "completed" any time soon.
